GotG continues on the elements introduced in the Loki trilogy of films..... The Celestial Other, The Collector, The Infinity Gems and so on..... They will probably fight Thanos given the origins of many of the team members are connected to him and we were shown his face at the end of the Avengers.
Also, Winter Solider surprised me about how good it was, but i still believe DOFP can be the best movie of the year. It has nothing but potential at this point.

So I just watched Captain America 2 yesterday
Spoiler:
Oh dear, it was just so awesome!!!
Specially with Bucky! Are we going to see him in the avengers 2? Or are we going to have to wait till Captain America 3? But never mind that, his origins story was awesome, he was awesome and I loved that last fight he had with Cap.
Falcon was just as awesome and I absolutely want Fury's car!
The video I watched didn't contain the end credit scenes so it'd be nice if someone knew where I could watch it or something

Pretty much all of that. I don't know where to find those scenes, though, sorry.

So has anyone else been seeing the first set photos from Age of Ultron? I don't know what to be more amused by, Mark Ruffalo's entire twitter feed or Hawkeye's new coat.

It's been a while so...... lets get started.
1.AoS renewed for a second season. I hope to god they maintain the quality of the show they have made after the rough start.
2.Agent Carter got picked up by ABC..... its premise is "It's 1946, and peace has dealt Peggy Carter a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark, all while trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life." Howard Stark will probably be recast.I really hope they can "cross-over" with AoS in a reverse chronological manner somehow.
3.They are casting younger versions of Scott, Jean and Storm for X-Men Apocalypse. Also, DOFP got 21 posters. Really.
Also, it seems to have overwhelmingly positive reviews in the early screenings. http://comicbook.com/blog/2014/05/07/x- ... -positive/
(Also, with Arrow, The Flash, iZombie, Constantine and Gotham, this year's schedule will have 7 comic book-based shows. Boy, am i excited to give people lectures regarding easter eggs.... )

I'm just gonna be over here screaming excitedly about Agent Carter. I've been wanting it since I first saw the short of that name but I thought it would never happen because stuff this good NEVER happens.

It got very bad reviews but I liked it. It was awesome and emotional.

I enjoyed it, largely because Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are absolute treasures. Also, I really, really liked Dane Deehan's performance as Harry Osborne. I thought he really sold it. I did suffer a painful amount of second-hand embarrassment for Max Dillon's entire life, though. Also, even though you KNEW how it was going to end for Peter and Gwen, they managed to make it hurt.

the main thing I heard about Amazing Spiderman 2 is how it is trying to compete with DC for "lamest attempt at Avengers-like buildup for a later movie"

@slider: That is totally wrong!!! I saw the movie 2-3 weeks back and have read many reviews since. Their main complaints : Not featuring JJJ physically (which Webb has said that he will not do as it is hard to find a character that is as well portrayed as Simmons did in the first trilogy as he did not want comparisons), Not showing Harry and Peter's friendship on-screen much (I partially agree but understand why they did it, as the original trilogy covered that. They did have 3 scenes featuring Harry and Peter but one of them was cut out), "wasting time" on resolving his parents' storylines (WTF critics?? 2 years ago, in all the reviews that i had read, they were like "leaving this storyline unresolved is a major drawback of the film and i hope it shall be resolved in the second film." and now this??? Hypocrisy.), not focusing on Electro's character (I partially agree. See, we got to see a lot of him and he WAS focused upon, however, more screen time for the villain would not have been a bad thing and his reasons were a bit..... simple.)

@manga: Yea, my sis was in tears at THAT moment. And before that she was like, "Please dont die...". And both of us liked Dehaan's Harry Osborn.

I'm conflicted. I want to see it but I'm no longer comfortable putting my money into anything associated with Bryan Singer.

Well, I just came back from Days Of Future Past. It is awesome. No, it is much more than that. It is NEAR PERFECT. The things it doesnt explain dont matter in the end because you get caught up in the magic.
Spoiler:
Quicksilver's scenes were pure fun and interesting. Magneto's villain-ishness was apt and well-delivered. Mystique's character arc was well-done as well. And the final timeline reset was heart-touching.
Seriously, just go and see the movie. It is on par with any Marvel movie. And it is the best film of this year, i do believe.
