Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro is essentially a pretty awesome murder mystery series (with a supernatural element that is cleverly saved for everything outside of the murder mystery itself) where some idiot took out all the scenes where the audience gets most of the clues.

It's going to get more ridiculous later on, when X starts being more prominent. X and the HAL2000. Those are ridiculous. Completely different from the manga, not that the manga was any less ridiculous.
