Another reason to hate k-pop
I hope they at least paid to use it.

Re: Lupin III Theme Song ripoff?
I really love this idea, actually. I honestly never find any problem with people getting inspiration, sampling, and reusing older tunes. It's not like they are completely downplaying and ignoring the original in any way, and it's not like anyone who heard that as a fan of k-pop would've otherwise heard one of the best theme songs in history in any form without it. Now, they'll have a chance to seek it out too and Lupin gets a little more exposure.
I know I'm always in the minority on this subject, but the fact is that every musician and music act take inspiration from somewhere--sometimes it's obvious, sometimes it's not. Whatever results in a good song is fine with me, and so long as they aren't hating on the original artist or anything, I really don't have a problem with it. If something comes of it, the original artist is the one who should be litigating and taking them to task, not the fans.
Anyone remember that SEAMO Lupin song? That was hype like six years ago for the madness of it all.
