Dad's been sick for about 24 hours He's been throwing up and has some stomach pain that makes him moan in pain T__T
I don't like listening to it, it makes me depressed D: I want dad to be healthy and the fact that he has diabetes makes me worried about him getting low-blood sugar D:
Conclusion: "This area is full of crap" and "It's a nasty place!"

D: I really hope he feels better soon kain!
It's tough seeing parent getting sick.
*hugs*
So I went and did various bits of errands today, including wandering the mall for a bit. About halfway to downtown on the bus, I realized I'd left my cane leaning up against the bus stop sign at the mall. ~_~*
I have finally started to actually publish my story! For the moment, expect a new chapter each month.
"When a strange letter summons the Mouri family to Inaba, Ran is expecting a case. She's not expecting it to involve the TV, though.
If Naoto investigated everyone who came to visit Inaba, she'd have little time for real cases. When Yukiko reports that the Midnight Channel is back, however, she starts to wonder if the visitors are connected. Especially when the image clears, unveiling yet another mystery."
Short version: I'm taking various DC/MK characters to Inaba (where Persona 4 takes place) and dropping them through the TV to face their Shadows!
Okay, I clearly need to get at least six copies of my keys made and secrete them all over the place because I am so done with locking myself out of my flat.
I am also never getting flatmates who work nights ever again.
Or flatmates who go over to their boyfriend's for three days and leave their hair all over the shower and dirty dishes in the sink when they do.

So the car died. ~_~*
Archi had an awful day (I didn't help, between yelling at him for not knowing where the bus stop was and then making him drive me to the Gate City because I didn't have the right change for the bus...) Extra-long workday (although this was by choice because extra hours means extra money), crabby wife, one of his favorite co-workers quit... and then when it's finally time to go home, the car won't start. Gets a friend to look at it, but no dice. Electrical stuff seems to be shot, meaning that the car is dead and there's really nothing much we can do about it at the moment. In the morning he'll call and have it towed to the mechanic.
Not sure how much help the mechanic will be, though, as we don't have the money for repairs, and we've already poured more into repairs this year than the car is worth.
This is kinda going to put a damper on going much of anywhere. ~_~* Guess I'll be getting to know the bus schedule pretty well. I also better fix my sleep pattern so I can be up in the morning and have more time to actually use the bus to go places. This city doesn't really have very good public transit--the buses stop running around 6-7pm. On Saturdays the buses quit around 4-5pm. I can still get to the Gate City and the Capitol, as well as down to Boston. Anywhere else, however, is now off-limits unless I can get someone to drive me. While that doesn't sound like much of a change, it will be quite the shift for Archi.

KainTheVampire wrote:Dad might need to be put in at the hospital if he's unable to eat D: *worried as hell*
From what I understand he has some kind of infection
Is he doing any better now? I really hope so! *hugs kain*
So the car got looked at. Apparently the problem is that the water pump broke. The cost to fix the car is around $1200. We don't have that kind of money available at the moment, and the car itself is barely worth $1000. So much for having a car.

You can chart my rising irritation with my male flatmates and their shocking inability to do even the most basic cleaning chores when it's their turn by how many times I watch the video of "Cell Block Tango" from Chicago in a 24 hour period.
The one in the room through the wall from me keeps playing his thumping techno shite at volume sthat you can physically feel no matter how many times I tell him to turn it the hype down. NOT HELPING MY AUTUMN-FLU-HEADACHE, YOU IDIOT.
Money is tight. Extremely tight. As in there might not be enough to pay the bills and the rent. ~_~* This month's last paycheck comes in tomorrow, we'll see how much good it does. I seriously need to get a job. ~_~* I am trying, but nothing is working very quickly....
