That was my reaction too. We will see how this plays out. Diggle may be like her guardian (protector, i mean, not legal guardian) or something when she becomes Speedy and joins Team Arrow. But there is a LOT of skin in the pic. EEwww.

apparently, in Season 2 they're gonna also be showing Oliver become less vigilante, and more hero. So, probably less wanton murder next season.

Except one issue, all the issues of the ARROW digital-first series have been crap. Most decidedly filler with no changes to the characters or affect to the stories. I gave up on it two months ago. Which is why i was pleasantly surprised when my friend recommended this week's ARROW (he buys it every week) to me. I read it and it was a good read. Post-Season Finale. I wont spoil it for you, but it shows one aspect of Sacrifice i was a bit disappointed about and happy to find i was wrong and something did happen off-screen. It is a bit overdone at times, but i think with a concept like that and a character driven story, will get better. You should pick it up at comixology. It's worth the price. And it's not a one-shot. Part one of a multiple part story.

Either way, i loved it. Some plots from the season finale progressing. What now, for Laurel, Quentin, Thea and Diggle?? All questions are partially answered or at least, in one case, set-up for season 2 to take up. No Roy or Felicity here, sadly. But this issue surprised me twice. It has two points i do not like, but 17 that i do. Pick it up and we will have a plotty discussion.

Thea and Roy deep in their relationship, apparently. The "mind" big bad is Summer Glau, who will play the “enigmatically beautiful” and “dangerous” Isabel Rochev, VP of acquisitions at Stellmoor International, a company looking to take over Queen Consolidated. She will first appear in the premiere. Any ardent readers will know her character and her "obsessions" fit in very well with the tone of the show (may give off-screen character development/contrast for Moira), as well as Ollie's disposition towards her.

The season premiere... while being a bit fast... delivered. I liked it. A good start.

I agree some parts felt a bit rushed but I thought it was good.

They covered a hell of a lot of material in just one episode. I really like this change from murderer-to-hero. The idea of a murdering was something everyone brought up millions of times, so to see it addressed is quite nice I think.

It looks like the first season was dedicated to set up his prestory. It feels like we are finally getting into the story of "The Green Arrow." I'm looking forward to this.
