this is the worst part of every other show ever made
We work so poorly together, as we are all talented mavericks yet in ways which make our personalities incompatible! However, we have no choice but to work together! Quick, we must hurry to express our frustration in unoriginal and interchangeable snarky one-liners!

But imagine how cool it would be if they mostly got along right away and we could just skip straight to them kicking @%%.
Superman = Captain America > Aquaman = Hal Jordan > Wonder Woman > Barry Allen > Thor > Martian Manhunter > The Hulk > Wasp > Hawkeye > [power gap] > Iron Man = Batman > [power gap] > Hank Pym
I thought that episode was better by far than either of the previous two. There was a lot of heavy-handed character development, but I was strangely OK with it. It's also the first episode where I've liked Ward at all. (Now Fitz and Simmons are the ones who still have to win me over. )
Spoiler:
I hope Ward and Skye go the mentor/student or brother/sister route instead of the romantic route.
Also...Graviton.
Superman = Captain America > Aquaman = Hal Jordan > Wonder Woman > Barry Allen > Thor > Martian Manhunter > The Hulk > Wasp > Hawkeye > [power gap] > Iron Man = Batman > [power gap] > Hank Pym
On the one hand, I enjoy Skye character much more now, although, she's a little naive to think that what Ward told her about his family was completely true!
I think we need an episode with more FitzSimmons, just to know them a little better, they're the one we don't know enough about. Maybe that's what bothering you, Pofa!
I have a feeling like they're trying to push too hard the ship Skye/Ward, I don't really like it...
Self-proclaimed Cat-chef and Catetician on DCTP family
Ward/Skye does feel more than a little pushed. Shipping Skye/May all the way
I just love FitzSimmons because they're adorable. It's always nice to hear a Scottish accent in mainstream media, too. (Americans and English EVERYWHERE...)
Spoiler:
Anyone more familiar with comics than me able to tell me which superhero/villain that professor dude's turning into?
Also I feel like Phil being perturbed by the loss of muscle memory impulses is support for the theory that he's some sort of clone/replica.
(...anyone know why strikethrough text doesn't work anymore?)
And yeah, I'm thinking LMD due to the muscle memory thing.
Still waiting for them to reveal which Jessica Skye is (Drew or Jones). Or they can do like ep1, where everyone thought "LUKE CAGE!" and then it was some random.

Oh, is she going to be someone we know? I hadn't heard about that, but neat.
Maybe Jessica Jones then, since she's a superhero nerd. Though it'd be a shame for her not to meet Luke in that case.

They haven't confirmed it's someone from the comics, hence why I didn't spoiler tag it. It just seems to be screaming that she should be someone we know.
Some really nice little twisties in that last episode. They're doing a good job of showing the scale of globetrotting on TV, which is obviously no easy task. I expect we'll see some comic-based villains coming along soon, and hopefully an overarching one at that.
Well, this obviously needs work. Its got hiccups. But the potential here is HUGE. And the comic references keep me hooked but keep me from enjoying the surprises. I mean who who had read a bit of ancient Marvel didnt see Lola's alt-form at once or Graviton as soon as they heard Dr.Frank Hall coming ?? I liked how they tuned up his origin but.. well... I am not liking this one as much i expected to. But the feel i get while watching this is 60's Marvel all the way.

My feeling is, if you see more ads than you would watching it on broadcast TV, then it's too many ads.
This just reminds me of how ironic (and I do think I'm using the word correctly right now) it was that during "15 million merits" 4oD kept on cutting in with adverts.
(Please tell me someone else has watched Black Mirror?)

The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.
