The Rose of Versailles is on hulu, so I'm watching it. Stuff like that is a guilty pleasure of mine and I've been curious about that title ever since they did an article about it in Animerica way back in the day.

I'm also trying Sound of the Sky. I liked the first episode, but the second one was underwhelming. :/ I might keep on because of the Michiru Oshima soundtrack, though.

Assuming you're talking about Angel Beats, you should've seen some of the original promotional art for Yuri. She looked so similar to Haruhi that people figured it was a straight-up ripoff/parody.

I watched the omgimyellow subs, and they were okay. About what you'd expect from speed subs, though two lines weren't translated (but they were throwaway lines). Don't get the google translated subs. Or, you can wait a week or two and TakaSubs will release their version.

I'll be honest, if they had continued Tomoko's parents complete no-selling of her behavior, it would either be the least or most believable part of the show.

When I do my weekly anime catchup I really should leave Free! for after Shingeki No Kyojin so I walk away from my laptop squeeing and giggling instead of morbidly depressed and crying
