I actually am, if you haven't noticed all the characters I like usually have some sort of suffering.

So, I decided to watch Code Geass because its one of those anime I'm always hearing about thats so good and whatnot (but mostly because ranger recommended it, and I wanted to watch something once I finished Bebop ).

So I finished the first season.

Yeah.

That was so disturbing on so many levels. And that ending.

It was disturbing? I didn't think it was that "shocking", it's just a series with great thrills and an amusing protagonist.

Now continue onto Season 2! I think S2 is better than S1, simply because there's a lot less fluff and BS like the dates w Euphemia and Suzaku, and a lot more action. If you thought ending of S1 was surprising...

He is directing the series composition, meaning he does have involvement in the entire series I believe. I keep hearing people mention this, and how Gen's influence is only on episode 1 and 12, which isn't true.

Also, prepare your butts, he's writing episode 12, the last episode? hahaha.

@ranger I mostly meant the part with the Euphemia and SAZ disaster, cause that was pretty messed up.
I really like Lelouch, even if he is a bit over-the-top at times. He reminds of Light from Death Note a bit. Anyways, I've already begun season 2 and am enjoying it immensely. I hope the quality lasts all the way through to the end of the season, since I'e heard from people it doesn't. I guess I'll see soon enough.

yeah he is really similar to Light, I love Season 2. Especially the music.

Episode 2 was quite interesting. Like this could have been a generic anime for MANY reasons but it's...clever. I like how the 2 main human characters can't directly communicate, the world is kinda interesting (if complete bs even by anime standards) and the horrified look as what should have been a generic "stranger saves the day" scenario turns into "stranger SLAUGHTERS ALL THE BAD GUYS AND WE ARE A BIT WORRIED".
Also, thank you for presumably avoiding putting a time travel story in for no reason.
