Magical School Girls

From Maburaho

we have Yuna Miyama, Kuriko Kazetsubaki, Rin Kamishiro and Chihaya Yamase. They are female. They can use magic. And They go to magic School

So I believe they would qualify.

I'm looking forward to the new Sailor Moon anime. I'm kinda hoping it'll run closer to the manga, since I liked that better, though some parts of the new manga translation bug me ("Legendary Silver Crystal"? Really?)

Also, Puella Magi Madoka Magica is suffering. I love it.
