Some tips for watching DW. Leave all the Classic series for now. You can go back to them later and laugh at the special effects if you want, but it would take too much time to watch them all when you could get a general overview from New Who (most people talk about New Who when they talk about Doctor Who nowadays anyway)  and be able to watch new episodes as they come out without any spoilers.
If you watch New Who out of order, make sure to watch Series Fnarg (I think it's the 5th/31st series? first one with Eleven anyway) in the right order. You'll just get lost otherwise.
And I'd recommend you start on either Rose (I don't think this is one of the better episodes but it was specifically designed to introduce new viewers to DW) or The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances two parter because it really helps you get a feel for the series overall and is one of the best stories I've seen IMO *wanted to suggest Blink but it's too Doctor-lite :x*

I didn't really care for Breaking Bad. I watched a few episodes and I don't know, it just didn't grab me at all. I didn't particularly like or take interest in any of the characters.

Once Upon A Time (I'm really into fractured fairy tales and different takes on children's stories but the premiere didn't impress me that much so holding up on episode 2)

Honestly, Dexter Season 1 is by far the weakest of the entire series. The story isn't as strong, the tone is a little uneven, and the individual episodes don't really connect to each other as well as they should. This is all solved in Season 2, when it became the show it had the potential to be. Seasons 2-4 are some of the best TV ever made--get this far and you shall not regret it, I assure you!

I thought that was season 6, with its stupid reveals and crappy Sub-plots. Anyway, Bluekatiou1412, Seasons 2-4 are awesome. Very Very good. Must watch-good.

Hmmm... worth giving a shot, then. But if this becomes hype backlash, I'm holding you responsible! XD Seriously though, your opinion coincided with my other pals' comments about the next seasons, so yep.
