Re: Fairy Tail
Why? Because the tabloids of Sankaku and the trolls of 2ch say so? Please. She's not the "breakout star" she was 10 years ago, but no one really retains that level of popularity without being in one of the huge series like Dragonball or Naruto. She still gets work, just not much. And guess what? A lot of that is due to her whole management changing that's been going on for the last 2 years or so. She's still popular in the west, if nothing else, so her career is far from "over". Just "not what it used to be".leokiko wrote:Her career is over.ranger wrote: Aya Hirano obviously relaxing for your Haruhi season 3 debut

Like the west matter for the japanese. But hey, Haruhi is a fun anime, having another season would be cool.GinRei wrote:Why? Because the tabloids of Sankaku and the trolls of 2ch say so? Please. Haven't Haruhi's light novel sales seriously stagnated?leokiko wrote:Like the west matter for the japanese. But hey, Haruhi is a fun anime, having another season would be cool.GinRei wrote:Why? and honestly i expect this new fairy tail thing to just be a series of ovas or something, as much as i love it it's pretty awful from a business standpoint, dvd sales are bad, ratings are atrocious, movie didn't do super well either

Re: Fairy Tail
No. Last novel sold like, 2 million copies or something (1 million for alpha, 1 million for beta). It's just that it's been the only release in the past 3 years or something, and there's no date for the next novel.Vylash wrote: Haven't Haruhi's light novel sales seriously stagnated?
What we need is another season of Seikon no Qwaser.

Really? If the anime isn't doing well then having a series of OVAs isn't something that will happen too.Vylash wrote: and honestly i expect this new fairy tail thing to just be a series of ovas or something, as much as i love it it's pretty awful from a business standpoint, dvd sales are bad, ratings are atrocious, movie didn't do super well either

Mashima has said the anime isn't over yet though, so I'm assuming it's thatShiraKiryuu wrote:Really?
