the latest episode was okay. I hated the fact that they made firefly a sympathetic character. They changed everything about him except the name. Also, Huntress, Deadshot, China white are all returning in a few weeks!

Episode 11 was again very predictable, except the last part of the flashback. Though, as a comic book reader i can see where this is going.

I loved this episode. Great to be back on Firm Ground (or Quiver material). I liked the island flashbacks, especially. And the not-so-secret transformation of Count Vertigo to the version i love to hate.

Those who are liking this series should pick up Jeff Lemire's Green arrow #17. I liked it.

I had a hard time believing that Mrs Queen could not recognize her son. I mean, really? Same height, same...way to stand, a hood to cover half his face and deepening his voice could not prevent a mother from recognizing her son.

I hope that Felicity's slight crush is going to go away, I don't want her to fall in love with Oliver, she's too great for that!

I'd be fine with it, as long as she stays being an actual character rather than just turning all "generic main character cheer squad".

Today's Arrow was the best episode of the series so far. Insightful island flashbacks and great action.

I was coming to post exactly the same sentiment. My favorite episode to date with wonderful balance and developments between the flashbacks and real time.

I had a hard time believing that Mrs Queen could not recognize her son. I mean, really? Same height, same...way to stand, a hood to cover half his face and deepening his voice could not prevent a mother from recognizing her son.

I see where you're coming from, but I didn't have much of a problem with that myself. Oliver's not usually dressed that way or holding a bow or speaking with a modulated voice in front of her, so I could buy it. The great delivery of the line that served as the cliffhanger to the previous episode ("Moira Queen, you have failed this city") made it all worth it nonetheless to me.

All that aside, Slade is quite a cool character to have as well. It's still impressing me week after week just how well they've done plotting out the flashback sequences and interweaving them with the ongoing story. They never feel unnecessary or uninteresting or even the slightest bit out of place. Usually, when shows try something like that, such scenes either overshadow the primary plot of the episode or detract or distract from it, but here, the balance is really something else.

The latest arrow episode was another high point. ROY HARPER = EPIC.

It becomes increasingly hard to define the best episode of the series with "Dead To Rights". Another awesome episode which features heavily on the Merlyns'. And taking a leaf out of BATMAN R.I.P.

Then, Alex Kingston, kyaaaaaa.
And finally, Oliver told Tommy who he was. But why do I sense that Tommy's going to be a bad guy in the end, or he will die, that's what happens to "civilians" friends of super-heroes!
