So some people's tech rehearsals for the showcase tomorrow were held today. Reportedly, they did not go well. The Ridotto staff are trying to charge the non-actors in each crew to get into the showcase. As in, the techs, costumers, makeup artists, directors and set crew are going to be charged to get in. What the hell? I know when a performance is going on, all the audience sees are the actors, BUT GUESS WHAT, WITHOUT COSTUMES, MAKEUP, PROPS AND LIGHTS, WE CAN'T DO SHIT.
One of the crews today ended up chewing a chunk out of their tech rehearsal having a full-on row with the Ridotto staff about this and the fact that the staff changed their performance space without telling them. You cannot just give someone a completely different size of performance space than what they've rehearsed for, especially an intricately choreographed physical theatre piece! If they pull that on us we are going to have to murder them, because in a smaller performance space our set won't fit, our lighting won't work and our extremely precise blocking will be thrown completely out of whack.
GUYS, THIS IS YOUR FOURTH YEAR DOING THIS SHOWCASE. HOW CAN YOU NOT GET THIS VERY BASIC CRAP ABOUT HOW TO PUT ON SOME DAMN SHOWS.
Snowing again. Archi is swamped at work, but glad I told him to drive instead of walk, since the snow picked up again after he left. I am starting to get a little antsy about not being out of the house recently. I'm bored.
I have finally started to actually publish my story! For the moment, expect a new chapter each month.
"When a strange letter summons the Mouri family to Inaba, Ran is expecting a case. She's not expecting it to involve the TV, though.
If Naoto investigated everyone who came to visit Inaba, she'd have little time for real cases. When Yukiko reports that the Midnight Channel is back, however, she starts to wonder if the visitors are connected. Especially when the image clears, unveiling yet another mystery."
Short version: I'm taking various DC/MK characters to Inaba (where Persona 4 takes place) and dropping them through the TV to face their Shadows!
D: I feel sorry for my cousin's mom. It's her birthday and it seems like everyone in her family's getting hurt. My Grandma fractured her humerus, and my cousin's mom's niece is in the hospital in quarantine.

Wow, okay, so this is just ridiculous. Usually I'm pretty patient, and let it be known that it has been several months with ridiculous conditions, but I'm just about completely exasperated with this BS.
So, I live in the dorm of the university and everything about it has been lovely other than this one thing: the people across the hall. They are loud. Very loud. Now, I don't mind some noise, but this isn't just noise, it's ridiculous. When both of our doors (ours and theirs) are closed, we can hear them clearly and loudly speaking. They also tend to invite at least three people over to have parties. Loud parties. Sometimes they just talk loudly in the hallway. ...They literally just stand in their doorway. Seriously: either go in, or hyping LEAVE.
Now, some must be thinking: but sonoci, that's what University is like! People party, they're social! Yeah, I'm definitely aware, and I actually wouldn't mind any of this at all... if I lived in a social hallway. But I live in an academic hallway. A hallway that is supposed to be 24 hour quiet. A hall that, while signing up for residence, you have to specifically request to be in. Why did they sign up for a hyping academic hall if they knew - they KNEW - they would be loud? Do they just really have no consideration - not only for me and my roomate - but for everyone around them?
They are loud almost constantly. It doesn't matter what time it is. Midday? Almost a custom. Late at night? Yep. Late at night, past the quiet hours of social halls? I wish I could say no. Early in the morning, sometimes the morning after being loud at night? Yessiree. During hyping MIDTERMS AND FINALS? Apparently they're just living here and not actually taking classes.
The killer? There are RAs that make rounds to make sure people are quiet. They've knocked on our door a few times when we got slightly loud, but we were quiet right after. ...They never say a word to those people. Nothing. I actually think that they've got someone who knows when the rounds are because I heard someone knock on their door and say "Hey, the RA is going to make the round soon, you'd better be quiet." ...in other words, THEY ARE PERFECTLY HYPING AWARE THAT THEY'RE NOT SUPPOSEDLY BE SO HYPING LOUD.
Again, I'm patient. But, if they're loud during midterms AGAIN, I'm most certainly writing a letter of complaint.

I personally think you should go ahead and write one now, since I guarantee that they'll continue doing the same thing they've been doing as long as they don't get caught.

Dad didn't believe I had it this morning since I hadn't vomited but I've done that three times now And the shower I had this morning (before I started getting worse, I was planning to go to school first) was a complete waste
Conclusion: "This area is full of crap" and "It's a nasty place!"
Great, just great. I have no debitcard so in other words no money. I mean I do have money it's just that I can't access them. And I really have things I need to buy. I was supposed to get it today, but nooo. If I am lucky I might getting tomorrow, but more likely I'll get it the day after that. Or even more likely I'll get it next week.
And I do have things I need to buy, like breakfast.
I know the Caves are partially underground, like just about every other old building in Edinburgh, but no other room was so leaky that it actually developed slime on the walls and floors. This was the room they gave us for a changing room. It was cold, it was damp, and BAREFOOT CHORUS DOES NOT LIKE THE FEEL OF SLIME BETWEEN THE TOES.
