I get bruises easily, this one is from work. Actually most of them are.

At least you know where you got it.  I'll randomly notice bruises on my arm or leg and be like, "Where the frack did that come from?", and they won't even hurt when I press against them (I'd say they're slightly more sensitive, but they don't "hurt").  Just random bruising for the sake of bruising, it seems.

Have you tried using arnica on them? (for real, this isn't just a 'to make you feel better' thing) Arnica is an herb, one would usually purchase it (ie. from a health-food store?) as a gel or creme to be rubbed into the affected area. It does help bruises heal faster--had a coworker at the spa who practically swore by it after I suggested it to her. I don't know how hard or easy it would be to find in your area, but it is worth a shot.
I have finally started to actually publish my story! For the moment, expect a new chapter each month.

The Case of the Midnight Channel
"When a strange letter summons the Mouri family to Inaba, Ran is expecting a case. She's not expecting it to involve the TV, though.
If Naoto investigated everyone who came to visit Inaba, she'd have little time for real cases. When Yukiko reports that the Midnight Channel is back, however, she starts to wonder if the visitors are connected. Especially when the image clears, unveiling yet another mystery."

Short version: I'm taking various DC/MK characters to Inaba (where Persona 4 takes place) and dropping them through the TV to face their Shadows!

@GinRei: Oh, don't misunderstand me, most of my bruises are from an unknown source and most don't hurt, just like you described.

@Miaka: Thanks for the tip, I'll try to remember to look into that.

This is exactly my problem.  It's bad enough that if I run into something hard enough that I know it'll bruise, I'll tell whoever is standing nearby that if I end up with a bruise in that particular spot, I got it by running into whatever it was.

I think I got the world's stupidest tourists today. Seriously, you guys, stop asking questions this dumb, especially when you're American, you're being a bad stereotype.

"What time's the one o'clock gun go off?" x14
"Where's the Stone of Destiny?" x9 (Note: To reach the shop I work in, you have to walk through the room that has the Stone of Scone and other Honours in it. To get to that room, you have to walk through a seven-room timeline museum that contains several dioramas, at least three of which feature the Stone. Even if the Stone is just a big hunk of rock, you have had ample opportunity to learn what it looks like, and also, seriously, what other reason is there for that giant hunk of stone to be sitting next to the Crown?)
"Do you take pounds here?" x5
"Do you speak English in here?" x6
"How do I get into the Castle?" x5 (The shop I work in is in the middle of the Castle. You need to have a ticket and everything to get in.)
"Does the Queen live here?" x8
And, the perennial favourite: "Why're those soldiers wearing skirts?" x3

Seriously, I like working in tourism better than regular retail because, for the most part, tourists are happier, more polite customers and the managers at HS seem to be actual human beings. But sometimes, just sometimes, I seem to get stuck with the dumbest schmucks on the planet. (Some of these questions can be excused to non-English speakers who, say, may not be fluent enough to click the connection between the name "One O'Clock Gun" and the time one o'clock. But all of the numbers above are for how many times these questions were asked by English speakers, frequently with guides in hand.)

Now I have a headache from all the headdesking.

Asking in English whether people speak English is just... :x
"No, I'm sorry, I don't speak English, not at all." :P
If  ;), :D, ;D, ::), :P, :-X, :o or >:D are attached, that paragraph may not be 100% serious. Seriously.

I said that to one of them. In English. They said "oh, sorry" and walked out of the shop. I wonder if it ever hit them...

Thinking about it, I can say "I don't understand/speak [this language]" in many languages I don't speak, though in most I'd probably screw it up grammatically a bit...
Actually, that'd make an awesome Random Poll Of The Day: In how many languages can you say that you don't speak that language? :P

Due to being completely unable to sleep last night (pain) I missed game again. Also it is snowing, a lot. At least I do not have to shovel it, as I did at the place before this.
I so wish I had a bathtub.... soaking in hot water for a while would probably do a LOT to help with the pain.....

I'm feeling a little lost here.
I quit my job a little more than a week ago. I was only there for seven months.
It was an awful place to work. The boss would yell at people and even hit them (he never hit me, if he had, i would have left a long time ago). I saw a lot of bad things happen, people left all the time. It was so stressful. It made my year the worst i've ever had.
I know, i should have left before, but there's one major reason for which i had to stay there.

Now i'm workless. I started looking, sent out some resumes, but nothing.
I need a change, i will not be able to have another bad year.
2011 was already tough, i thought work couldn't get worse, and well, i was wrong.
I'm scared, I want to find a nice place to work, with interesting things to do, i love my career!
I'm hoping for a better 2013.

Sometimes i would just want to have aptx 4869 and go back to being a kid.
Adult life can be pretty hard.
