It has Alphard, therefore the show kicks ass.
Also watching Btooom, suprisingly really good!

I think Btooom is a show where the difference between "good" and "entertaining" should be noted, because while I can watch it and be entertained I'm not sure how good of a show I'd actually say it is.ranger wrote: It has Alphard, therefore the show kicks ass.

also, one of the characters in the finale is a complete dumb for someone who supposedly plays the game and moments before just showcased their knowledge about the game:

if you do watch TWGOK, good luck dealing with that shitty main charactermangaluva wrote: Spent the last couple of evenings after work just flopping on the couch rewatching Ouran, because

speaking of shitty main characters, i was forced to watch oreimo and it would've been far more enjoyable without that insufferable bitch kirino

Agree with you on both points, though I wouldn't use the same wording.Vylash wrote:if you do watch TWGOK, good luck dealing with that shitty main charactermangaluva wrote: Spent the last couple of evenings after work just flopping on the couch rewatching Ouran, because

Then again, Taira could've made a bluff and continued targeting Sakamoto instead. I, for one, actually found the scenario to be an interesting mind game... if only Taira wasn't stupidAkonyl wrote: I think Btooom is a show where the difference between "good" and "entertaining" should be noted, because while I can watch it and be entertained I'm not sure how good of a show I'd actually say it is.

BTW, moving on to new anime. I've heard about a Savanna Game anime... is it good?

Re: I'm Currently Watching...
just because one person in a fight can choose to bluff doesn't mean that it isn't still completely stupid for the other team to put all their chips in one pile. Besides, the "bluff" angle wasn't really the show's intention anyway, because even apparently Sakamoto was too stupid to think of the possibility until a few seconds before it got there. The entire situation just showed all three characters being complete doofuses.SkyVenger wrote: Then again, Taira could've made a bluff and continued targeting Sakamoto instead. Hunter X Hunter, or "The Opening Song That Will Never Leave". Even One Piece would demand some variety in this regard...

Yeah it was pretty shonen-BS-esque, but honestly, you should be used to it by now, haha

Re: I'm Currently Watching...
well yeah, but this series always liked to think it used strategy (like "oh look he used perspective!" "radar canceling!" "he jumped in the hole!" etc), so the massive bout of stupidity in that last part was more noticeable. In most shounen it's more forgivable though, because the cast is basically running around like idiots and there's zero pretense of strategyranger wrote: >anime
