Here's a moment I would consider awkward:
In episode 522, as Shinichi starts to shrink, Heiji at first tried very hard before managing to pull Shinichi aside from everyone else, and then, after giving Shinichi post-shrinkage instructions in the bathroom stall, he struggled to keep everyone else away from Shinichi's stall. In fact, I wonder how Conan/Shinichi's secret could have continued to be kept had Dr. Agasa & Ai not shown up to give Conan another lifeline...
