I just barely passed, but I beat my cousin \o/

And the woman who took my picture had an Irish accent (or at least that's what I think it was :P). She was nice tho :D

One of my classmates brought in two bags of Snickers and told us to help ourselves to it, so I actually got to eat some candy this semester. :-X

that feeling when you're given an issue to work on, and you look back and find out that it's a known issue that isn't our fault and thus you don't actually have to deal with it

So that teacher (and the students) actually liked my short fantasy story. He actually complimented me for avoiding a few issues that he often sees. Now I just need to make the settings a bit more clear.
Some of the students thought I used tons of symbolism (I didn't intend to, though), and it was pretty fascinating to hear their interpretations.

Two of my writings were fairly liked, so I hope to get them published in the magazine or at least be on the website.

It was a very good idea to go to the Art History class today.
Apparently our final grade would be the better grade of the midterm or the final, so I don't even need to do the final because I got 97 in the midterm.

I thought of an art project to keep myself busy during the holidays. This is a big deal for me as I've been depressed since March and I'm finally  doing something to help myself get over it.

Sounds awesome!

Course night out tonight to celebrate our last assessment being yesterday. With no more rehearsals, I'll finally have time to write again as of tomorrow \o/

I'll be able to sleep in on Tuesday <3 I don't need to be in school until 12.30 :D Only the people who haven't done all the National tests had to go on the English lesson~ I don't have History and I have language after lunch, so I'll get first, second and third period free
I'm going to sleep in, do my laundry, pack for the trip to mom and I'm going to clean my room :)

Finished with one of the most horrible classes ever. Also starting to finally get better and I don't have a lot of fever.

My Secret Santa got me some awesome stuff (I can't burn this candle she handmade me, IT'S TOO PRETTY, also I am never again taking off this scarf), and the person I SecSan'd loved their stuff. Everyone loved their stuff, we had a good dinner, and we all cried together over Home Alone with precisely NO SHAME WHATSOEVER. Merry Early Christmas, y'all!

Ok, a Grammar Roman using 'y'all'; now I've seen everything.

She's got family in Oklahoma, so it's fine.

Funny story about "y'all":  my Latin professor couldn't use "y'all" to teach Canadians about grammar because it just confused them. He was happy to be in Texas and able to use "y'all" for the 2nd person plural.
