Seriously, I've cleaned out my recycling bin, I defragged last week, what's wrong? I can't even use Microsoft Bloody Word without it freezing up every five seconds.

(Hex is my laptop, because I'm a nerd)

Speaking of laptop problems, mine keeps on disconnecting from the internet (people in the IRC have witnessed that just now - Shiho, Shehoe and Shehehe were all there because of that :x... and the laptop's really the problem, not the internet connection).

EDIT: I just realized my laptop doesn't have a name. I wonder if I'll give it one.

... I hate Microsoft Office T__T  I tried to upgrade Word from trial with a code I've bought but the program refuses to upgrade and says I already have it installed
I can't continue on my fanfic like this D: *was half-finished with the latest chapter*

This is why I prefer to use Open Office (a free program) instead of Microsoft. Although for my writings I use Scrivener.

I've been having computer issues lately too. Maru-chan (my netbook) is apparently grumpy. Spot (my main laptop) has been out of commission since summer with a busted power-connection. And last nigh Maru-chan decided to restart to install updates without warning. I was in the middle of a conversation on cbox, talking to Kyuu-san about Tolkien stuffs.

I just recently had a windows update hit my desktop, so the slowness might be an update hitting your laptop and being installed while you try to be productive. Could be a bunch of things though :V

This one was closer to where I live than I can recall hearing about ever before.
Am all by myself as Archi is at work.
Have a bunch of things that need to get done today and I have been too upset to work on any of them for most of the afternoon. T.T

There are rare situations where it might be a solution, some even where it might be the best. They are, however, very, very rare and in-between, and this was clearly not one of them.

I can't stop thinking of the parents and the children in school shooting  :'( it's horrible, I can't find words....Also, the survived children, they must be in a terrible mental state, God knows for how long it will affect them

Yes, exactly.  Reading the news reports on it isn't really helping.  There's no sense of motive, and everyone thought he was just a really smart and quiet guy.
