Haha, people do have different opinion, but it is the situation just like you tag line.. "With a keen eye for detail one truth always prevails" and the truth is Shinichi/Conan is the best..!

I like Haibara, but also I like Akai, Jodie, and Kid. Hattori and Chianti are also climbing to the list.

^ This. His uselessness might have been funny the first time, but...the fact that he made inspector just...Urrgh so annoying! He is literally the only character I strongly dislike. Goro would make a better inspector than him!

Rant over...Kaito gets my vote, by the way  ;)

Kaito Kid. He won the most popular character poll run by FUNimation, I'm suprised he's only third here. Why did so many choose Shinici/Conan and Ai?

Well there's your problem... Conan won the poll in Japan.  Where they actually showed all the episodes, Haibara didn't even make it into the dubbed show (yeah she was in the movies but that hardly shows her character)... damn FUNi.

I thought Conan was first in Japan, Shinichi was 3rd, and Haibara was 4th? Kaito might have been 2nd I don't remember...  Don't get me wrong I know Kaito is popular, but Conan/Shinichi is better  :P
