^Today was a very, very busy day and most things did not go right. I feel sorry for the poor passengers and the two girls who sells and checks tickets.

F***ing ice everywhere.
:| I've been really nervous around anything slippy lately too (slipped on a drive a few weeks back and badly sprained my wrist (and couldn't move parts of my hand much without it hurting which was bad 'cause it was my writing hand) along with getting bruises all down my arm. Plus, in year 9 I managed to fall on ice and cut open my knees so the blood was just running down my legs most of the day even with plasters. Oh and two Sundays ago I fell down some stairs at a shopping centre despite being as careful as possible :| *fail!Watch*).

That's probably not helping D:. Just try to be careful and if you fall, you fall but keep in mind that it's unlikely you'll get hurt much.  And good luck if the ice keeps up :).
Wow, I'm bad at trying to be helpful D:

Arrrgh, the headache from last week seems to be back. Which means I get to spend the day hiding in the bathroom again.
Oh, and the book the doc prescribed says I have to quit taking any painkillers, and I'll have to start a 'trigger-free' diet as soon as I can. Gonna start that with the new year because there are so many things I have to avoid that I'll need to spend a good amount of time trying to plan it out....
No nuts. caffeine, chocolate, bananas, citrus, alcohol, vinegar, or fresh yeast-risen baked goods, among other things.
I have finally started to actually publish my story! For the moment, expect a new chapter each month.

The Case of the Midnight Channel
"When a strange letter summons the Mouri family to Inaba, Ran is expecting a case. She's not expecting it to involve the TV, though.
If Naoto investigated everyone who came to visit Inaba, she'd have little time for real cases. When Yukiko reports that the Midnight Channel is back, however, she starts to wonder if the visitors are connected. Especially when the image clears, unveiling yet another mystery."

Short version: I'm taking various DC/MK characters to Inaba (where Persona 4 takes place) and dropping them through the TV to face their Shadows!

When I was about five, I slipped and landed hard on my coccyx. I don't think it broke or anything, but it hurt worse than anything in my life up to that point (and arguably since; I don't recall spraining my ankle hurting half as much), and since then I've been borderline phobic about unstable footing. Trying to go gorge-walking with my family last year reduced me to hysterics after half an hour of wet rocks, and I ended up just finding a quiet spot to sit and calm down and wait for them to go to the end of the ravine and back.

Due to that, I wasted all but the last 5 or so minutes of lab Tuesday manually defining the 110 values for the arrays, only to find out the instruction changed to "you must grab the values for those variables from the attached text file" right as I was about to turn it in today. >:(
that'll teach you to not procrastinate on your programming assignments!
Again, there's nothing to do during labs but our programming assignments... ::)
I think Ako was being sarcastic... :P
in a way

but what happened to aly isn't too uncommon either, profs love to have errors/issues with their stuff for the first few days after an assignment is announced, so you may as well procrastinate.

besides, last-day programming time is the soul of CS courses, imo. :P
Though, it was about as much my fault as his, as I completely forgot that he said the class before he assigned it that our final programming assignment would involve using a scanner on a text file. :-X

And procrastinating on the assignments would be so much easier if there was no lab period in the first place. Not like there's any need for much thinking as long as you don't make a mistake doing something, as the professor tends to write the assignments like a direct Java-to-English translation... ^^;

Ugh, I haven't felt this down in a long time. The worst part is that I had a good shot at feeling up again and it was sabotaged by me being completely unable to take one of my flatmate's behaviour for the entire evening. She wasn't even doing it on purpose, she just developed an incredible talent for saying the worst possible thing for my mental state this evening. (Read: a mental state where my brain twists just about everything into "you're a useless retarded waste of space that never does anything right and nobody wants around".) The final straw was her calling me an "old lady" because I was lagging behind the group a little, me mentioning that my shoes were slowing me down because my feet were sore, and her cutting me off before I could finish my sentence (which was going to go "but I'm coming as fast as I can, because I've not been to the Winter Wonderland yet and I'm looking forward to it") by saying that I should go home if I'm tired. My read at that time: "why are you still here, nobody wants you around, just f**k off, it's not like anyone will miss you"

I hate when my brain does this.

(I also hate that because everyone I know is out having a good time because they aren't convinced that everyone around them hates them, my only source of solace is to pour my heart out to a semi-anonymous internet forum.)

I'm curious about the wording "semi-anonymous internet forum" :x

I mean-

*cough*

At least you realised she wasn't doing it on purpose. Getting bitter at people can be even worse though it's still horrible to be in that kind of mood in the first place. If that makes any sense...? *hugs*

And Gio, you're not a fail D:

Hope you get better, Kor :-\ :)

((HUGS)) I know how it is when one's brain does that to one. ~_~* I get that a lot. ~_~* And then it ticks off my husband, which only makes things worse. ~_~*

it's only semi-anonymous because even though none of us know her in real life, she still has some sort of internet reputation attached to her username.

Also, I have a few members here linked on Facebook and/or Skype, so there are a few members that know my real name and may have enough information to hunt me down and murder me in my sleep

Anyway *cough*

*hugs back Sonoci, Stop and Miakakiri*

And yeah, I know exactly what you mean, Stop. I get pissed off and snap at people, and then later hate myself even more for snapping at people for no good reason. I should just sleep and end today already.
