What do you want to see before the series ends?

Conan has to stop a psychotic killer who has no rhyme or reason behind his killings, and leaves behind no evidence or is very unpredictable.

I dunno. If the guy/girl is meticulous enough not to leave any evidence, then (s)he's cerebral enough to have a motive. If (s)he's very unpredictable, that doesn't mean (s)he's -absolutely- unpredictable; and if (s)he was, I doubt (s)he'd be meticulous enough to not leave evidence behind.

The setting could be used, however, as a bait-and-switch: a killer inside law enforcement with enough influence to be able to make evidence disappear and also able to feed false information to the rest of the force, who could hide the single thing all the victims have in common and lie that it's the fault of a random killer.

I was thinking somebody who is just completely crazy and enjoys randomly killing people, no matter who it is. And how Conan can't rely on just finding motive to figure out who's next because the killer is crazy and has no real pattern to follow or deduce. Then Conan is forced to rethink how he approaches stopping the murders and how he can possibly catch an unpredictable serial killer, if he can think of anything.

I would enjoy seeing it because Conan always uses logic, evidence, and motive to find murderers, and they always have some deep seated reason for it. But with a psychotic killer who picks victims at random and with no rhyme or reason, Conan would have to come up with a new way to stop them. That's what I want to see. I want to see how Conan would deal with being thrown out of his comfort zone with how to approach and stop a murderer, even if it's only for one episode.

Reminds me of an episode of NCIS (possibly NCIS:LA not sure), in which the pattern left by the serial killer is that each of his victims are different physically (age, gender, etc.) and in the way that they are killed.

I mean, the thing about Professor Layton games is that I could order US copies and get them months earlier, but then I'd have to deal with Lani Minella's mockney accent and I really think I'd rather stab myself in the ears because it would be less painful.

Heiji and Kazuha get together (Well, actually, I'd like all the couples get together!)
Mouri solves a case successfully
A BIG surprise, like who the boss of the B.O. is! Oh, man! I'd LOVE to see that!!
Maybe an "After Story," like what happens after all of this is over (that is, if it will be over )
Maybe a few romantic moments (like kissing, dates, the usual)

That's all I can think of for now. I'll probably write more later...

For some inexplicable reason, Mouri goes on a vacation alone somewhere and leaves Ran and Conan alone, then the rest of the episode builds up to a possible case while he's gone, but results in Ran and Conan struggling to not be bored.
