I've wanted a cat since a very long time but have put of getting one until I have a stable income and know I will be living in the same place. So I thought now was the perfect time to get two, two because two cats are even better than one and because then they can keep each other company when I am working. So I called the animal shelter and the woman there was at first very happy about me wanting to adopt two cats. But after we had talked for a while she said I worked too much, I was too young and I should think about the cats well-being before my selfish reasons for wanting one. I am sorry, I just love cats and I really want one. And stupidly I thought I could do both the cats and the animal shelter a favour by adopting cats from there instead of getting some adorable kittens. She said she'd call again after the weekend but now I am unsure if I should even get a cat. I do want one but perhaps I am away too much. This entire episode has really made me sad.

I actually think that your plan of having two cats so that they keep each other company is actually a great idea. I would recommend that when you bring them home that you make sure that you spend some time to ensure that they get used to their new surroundings. Mind you, most of my cats were strays before we adopted them and it never took that long for them to settle in. I did notice that Kain mentioned that you sometimes have to stay overnight at your job so I would suggest finding someone who wouldn't mind checking in on them if you're going to be home late. We used to have my uncle or my grandma look after our cats when my family and I were gone on a vacation.

Sadly I don't really know anyone around here that well. But it should be noted that when I stay the nights away then I am home during the days instead. Like yesterday I started working 1500 and stopped working today at 0900 and wouldn't start working again until tomorrow if tomorrow wasn't a free day. But I definitely should get someone who could check in with the cats, especially if I am very late.

My family has also had cats since I was very young, and I have helped a lot in taking care of them since I was 10 years old. And I did most of the work when I got older as some of the others always forgot to give them food, change the water and clean the cat box. And I've wanted a cat of my own since I was 15 years old, or maybe even younger. But I waited since I knew getting one then would be irresponsible.

People are not happy when you have to cancel their train and they have to take a bus the rest of the way, especially when the buspeople says they'll come in 20 minutes and it takes one and a half hour. It should also be noted that I am not happy.

if you suspect at all that you broke something, make sure to get it checked out before it might have a chance to heal incorrectly. I fractured a finger as a kid but my parents didn't believe me, so it healed wrong and I had to have it re-broken to fix it, so that's no fun at all :V

... I'm supposed to go to the hospital today (I think) but they didn't send a note like they're supposed to do (I even asked them to) and I'm not sure if it was this Monday or the next one or if it's 15.30 or 16.30 D:
It was hard to hear them when I talked to them last week since they called me when I was on my way to my sister and there were cars that overvoiced them

Sooz is neither the director nor stage manager. So why does she get to drag me aside during rehearsals because she doesn't like the speed I'm pacing at and spend half an hour making me pace back and forth until I find the right speed?

Some complete and utter nonce scattered sand or something all over the black box before the drama society held auditions there this evening. A thin layer of sand on a hard floor is astonishingly painful to bare feet. With all the crawling around I had to do for my Renfield audition, I actually scraped some skin off of the tops of my feet.

And those scrapes have sand in them. PAIN.
