i just realized that outside of Toonami, the shortest length anime I'm watching are two 52 episode series.

granted both are definitively better than air and kanon (yes stupid magical girl show is still an improvement) so i don't feel like quitting halfway through. December will give me plenty of time meethinks.

you can enjoy SAO if you turn your brain off. Just don't try to think about the things it does wrong and accept that the entire show is a shrine to how great the main character is, and you can still have an enjoyable time with it.

Quite a lot, good that they all don't come out on one day: Sword Art Online, Psycho-Pass, Zetsuen no Tempest, Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, Kami-sama Hajimemashita, Code Breaker, Robotics;Notes, Shin Sekai Yori, Chuunibyou demo koi ga shitai, new Hayate no Gotoku.

Sometimes I check up on new Gintama to see if there are any new episodes (not reruns).

Btw, did anyone by any chance watch the latest Code Breaker episode?

I tried episode 1 of Zetsuen no Tempest.  Wow, talk about a cluster f*ck.  Like, four huge main plot concepts all crammed into one episode, it was waay too much.  I didn't like it all, the pacing was terrible, and it seem really run of the mill.  I don't like it at all.

I also tried 2 eps of Shin Sekai Yori.  It's decent, episode 1 gave me some higurashi vibes, but episode 2 was kind of boring.  Does it get any better? 

I guess I'll give Little Busters, Robotics;Notes, and Seitokai lvl 2 a try later this week.

Anything else worth watching this season?  Oh yeah, I guess I should try out that pet-something show.  Otherwise, I'll be moving into my backlog.

Don't bother with Seitokai for the time being.  It's crappy 360p.  Give it until next season and it should have a 720p or 1080p version available.

Anything else worth watching this season?  Oh yeah, I guess I should try out that pet-something show.  Otherwise, I'll be moving into my backlog.

Sakurasou no Pet is amazing.  Also, get Psycho Pass.  Urobuchi written.

Yeah i heard Setokai season 2 is airing on tv next season so i'd assume it'll be in hd, unless the terrible happens and it ends up like tamayura

y u no look at my MAL signature Ginrei?! It says im watching Chuu2 and Psycho already, obviously my two fave of the season.

also why is shin sekai yori so good? I thought that stupid game in episode 2 was pretty boring.

MAL isn't real, ergo their signature links aren't either.

Anyway, the first couple episodes are a bit slow because it's building the world.  It gets really good soon thereafter.  Remember, this is based on an award winning novel.  Not a visual novel, not a light novel, not a manga, and not a game.  You're not supposed to turn your brain off and watch explosions.
