*SPOILER FREE* Discussion Thread: Detective Conan Files 834+

Post by KnightusMaximus »

This topic is for SPOILER FREE discussions of the current manga case. If you have glimpsed progression in the case that has not yet been covered by DCTP releases, this is not the correct topic to be discussing in. Spoilers from the latest case, no matter their source, may be discussed in the other topic on this case, which can be found here. Please read the rules in the first post of that topic as well!

In other words: If DCTP has not released the file in question, it is NOT to be discussed in this topic, not even in spoiler boxes.

Why is this necessary?

Due to the files making their way onto the internet in full much earlier than before, we will be experimenting with having spoiler free discussion threads for all the latest cases. This will give everyone the opportunity to proceed with following and discussing the series in the manner they are most comfortable with.

What happens with the other type of discussion topic?

They stay exactly the same. The topics that we have been discussing the files in while using spoiler boxes need to operate by the exact same rules as before, especially for the time being. There are several reasons for this. Foremost, people may accidentally stumble into that topic (either from the index or without seeing that there is a "spoiler free" topic available). As a result, the old rule of "if DCTP hasn't released it, use a spoiler box" will still apply as much as ever, at least for now.

^ yeah that was kind of dirty.
At first I thought the owner had a disease that makes you hate light all of a sudden, I don't remember what it is, but it makes you act like 'vampire'. Secondly, that coffin is probably tricked, stuff that magicians use, and he's just hidden.
I love the the front page, Conan and his little tooth reminded me of the vampire from the little vampire film, it was really cute :)

A bit too early to judge the case, but it better be good. I still hope that Heiji gets to meet Amuro.

It just crossed my mind... did Sonoko meet Amuro??

Coooool!

And yeah, true about the vampire conan picture :D

My working hypothesis is the old guy, after learning he hasn't much longer to live, decided to at least become a legend.

I realized in this chapter that in half the cases the players are almost the same:

1. A larger, black haired guy
2. a skinny, handsomer brown-haired guy
3. an older women resembling closer to the black haired guy
4. a younger woman closer resembling the brown-haired guy
5. Misc. maids that look alike.
6. Misc. old, butlers.

in almost every case involving inheritances/families...............

Well, they don't...

Sounds like he's just trolling his family,  maybe act like a vampire is on the bucket list?

Must not think about Umineko...c'mon, Conan, time to flip the chessboard--oh crap!

And of course Heiji came prepared with a change of clothes.

There's definitely something wrong with the coffin (secret cellar underneath? XP).
I have a feeling one of the people at the dining table sent Ran and Kazuha up on purpose just to see the master's body, and serve as some sort of a witness.

Anyways, this case looks interesting. ^^

Is it possible the made-up story (Inspector Ootaki's beloved) will become reality.
