I was rereading the chapter, and something occurred to me:
When Conan and Kid!Sera were alone, Kid brought up the topic about the chain to Conan with the phrase "But don't you think your deduction from earlier was incomplete?"
Not Sonoko's deduction, but Conan's. I know he's aware that Conan's super-smart, but has he ever known about the voice changer? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is the first time he's acknowledged it in the manga. That alone was seriously breaking character as Sera, as she wouldn't have been so blunt (no one would). This just seems a bit significant to me.
Also, do you guys think that Ran grabbing Conan right as he used his tranquilizer needle was really a coincidence? Something about it seemed a little off to me for some reason; it was like she was a little too excited to go home, you know?
thats what keep bothering me :/

I thought about this too, and waited for some kind of OH NO moment from Conan, but it never came.. In retrospective it's quite obvious why it never came..
And on another note: Sera is awesome! And I feel sad for the turtle....

about what Kid!Sera asked Conan, I think it's more like "considering how good was the deduction, why didn't you expose my identity?". Even if he knew it was Conan making the deduction, Kaito wouldn't tell anyone.
Sera is awesome without a doubt. Even though I don't dislike Kaito, I'm happy this disguise literally came back punching in his face. It'd besafe to assume he'll avoid Sera in future cases.
as for Ran wanting to go home, it can be that she just wanted to go home, but it can also be suspicious. I have to go back and see why she looked at the phone.

and just like that...the magic is gone
and hell of a lot excitement takes its place! 1.Kid noticing it was Conan and not Sonoko? thrilling...
Kid knew that Sleeping Sonoko/Kogoro is a facade a long time ago, specifically the "Magic lover/fan murder case" (132-134) where Conan tranquilized Sonoko in front of Kid(disguised as another dude) and performed a deduction with Kid's help

1st Doctor: One day I shall come back, yes I shall come back. Till then there shall be no fears, no tears and no anxieties, just go forward in your beliefs and prove to me I am not mistaken in mine. Good bye Susan. Good bye my Dear.
The pervyness of Gosho was there from the very beginning. From Ran having a naked Keyhole picture, to Haibara panty shots.
He doesn't even bother adding male examples (like what happens on most shonen manga) to balance things out, no. It's all female-driven fanservice all the time.

yeah but now it seems like Sera is becoming 70% ( I won't say more than 80% because her charecter is still plot focused) fanservice... kinda like Vermouth when you stop to think about it.

Is it fan service when you have the same proportions as the cross dressing thief?
