In this page Sonoko seems to know Sera's gender which is very hard to guess.I doubt Kid can know her gender for sure in such short time.

Apparently the tank can't be open manually since Jerokishi called someone before it was opened. It also seems that they have scanned the tank thoroughly http://imgsrc.baidu.com/forum/pic/item/ ... 2.jpg  so I don't think a fake wall was used. The only thing that seems clear is that Kid used a strong magnet or something similar. Could he have hacked the system and opened the tank remotely?

It should be impossible to use a magnet, because the force of the magnet should diminish exponentially with the distance. That means that even if you have a super magnet about the size of say an ice hockey puck(which by the way is incredibly dangerous) the force just a meter away from the magnet wouldn't be very great. And if it was successfully being pulled by the magnet, it would be very very hard to tear it apart from the magnet.
As we all know, kid does incredible stunts, but he won't let anyone else except himself get in danger. So I think we can discard that theory now.
However he could have attached a magnet and tossed it inside with incredible precision...

Edit: Wasn't there steel on top of the aquarium? If so, then it isn't magnets 'cause  the risk of the magnet getting to close to the steel bars are way to high

those steel bars were with an alloy. So it's not magnetic most likely.


Sera is KID. Sera was also clinging to the carpet and dangling above everyone else when the carpet was smashing everyone against the tank XD That way Sera!KID was able to grab into the tank and no one saw him because the carped hid it.

Totally agree.  Also, when body checks were going on, Sera asked if it was alright for her to join the girls (probs because Kid didn't know she was a girl), and then at the end, the person is locked in the boys bathroom.  I don't know if this would've been more favorable to Kid since he's a guy, but maybe he put Sera in there because he thought she was a guy too.
In closing, Kid made a massive mistake in assuming Sera was a guy.

The only problem in that theory is that I thought Kid would've been able to tell Sera's gender while stealing her clothes. ._.

Everyone is acting a little weird in this chapter. Jirokichi gave up waaaay too fast and Kogoro is way too interested in the case.

Although, it amuses me that Sonoko thought Ran was Kid and tried to cover for "him". xD

I'm happy I'm not the only one who noticed that...they look good and realistic,especially the hair,it would be nice if the main characters had the same style.
