We know the front of Shinichi's house, tall and square and quite symmetrical—a traditional and quite creepy look when Gosho intentionally draws it so. In anime, however, it's beautifully classic, with a touch of modern look thanks to the glasses. (I know nothing about architecture though, so please kindly point out if you think I'm talking nonsense.

However, the Kudou's house has a very big, very high and very round library. This is what puzzles me. Where does the Kudou put it, actually? Behind the house? Or the square block on either side is actually a clever disguise for something like that inside?
Moreover, the house has a chimney. I wonder where it leads to since I haven't noticed any fireplace inside. Talking about fireplace, where is the living room? Is there even one? The place that Shinichi/Conan and now Okiya use to greet their several guests is the library, where everyone can easily access. Asami Uchida, the girl makes Shinichi's favorite lemon pie, has come in cool as you please. (chap 173) Which beg the question, where exactly is the library?
We know that Shinichi sleeps on the second floor, on the left wing, according to the anime, when Shinichi was awaken by the explosion from Agasa's house and looked out the window. (ep 1) But manga doesn't give this detail. (I think so. Please just tell me if I'm mistaken.)
I can remember a scene where Ran's looking around the house for Shinichi, then Conan put his hand on hers on the stair balcony and then left a pair of gloves behind for her. But I can't remember where it is. Can anyone remind me? If I remember right, Ran had tried to open some doors before that.
I wonder where is that staircase. Because with a house that big and that classic, the staircase must be big and classic too. Again, I know nothing about architecture. XD
Uhm, yeah, that is it. *sheepish* If this is as silly a question as I think it is, please just give me an answer and put me out of my misery. Thank you.
