Well, it's never good to throw a detective back to square one in an investigation, especially if it's personal. But if they can keep their cover in good shape, then Amuro would just be going in circles and that's the best thing they could ask for right now.

Hahah. "Edogawa Conan" is pretty ridiculous, but I don't remember anyone mentioning that in recent chapters.
I'm starting to love Amuro. To be honest, I wasn't his fan when he first appeared, but his presence is starting to build suspense in DC. I love having him around now, especially after the mystery train case.
Now, Conan has to be extra careful (and Conan is freaking out too), which is more fun for us readers~ Conan's reaction when he first saw Amuro after the train case was priceless XD

quite easy for Amuro now since he interested in conan. if he investigated about conan background, he will find nothing, which means something's wrong about the kid.
and with Kaito Kid in the next chapter, did Gosho try to suspend the main story again or he try to drag Kaito Kid to the main plot?

I'm betting on the first option. The plot moving this fast is too good to be true, IMO. I'm pretty sure there will be at least small reference to what went down in the train, but other than that, my gut tells me it's going to be the usual Kaito Kid vs. Conan story.
I hope I'm wrong, though. It would be Christmas if Amuro came along too to the Kaito Kid showdown along with Conan. After all, he is investigating Conan, and Conan is known in the media for his confrontations with Kid.

I am not sure about the trick but i think it was something like this: Kotone went to the room,killed the victim,put the ice under the racket to create the elusion of the air conditioner and setting the vase so that it will fall to the ground after some time (I don't know how, apparently she used ice and fire ). What I am missing is how did she get rid of the key and how did she move the victim body? Any idea?
btw does Amuro know Shiho's appearance when she was a child??I think the B.O may have photos for her, right??such thing will be very dangerous

I think I have a rough idea of how she set the vase, and how she moved the body, both involving the ice. Like you said, she put the ice under the racket. I think by sitting the victim on top of the racket with the ice underneath it, threading a fishing line or some strong string through the racket, closing the door, then pulling on the line, the body ends up in front of the door.
As for the vase, I think she put the ice inside the vase in such a way that the centre of balance is off, so when the ice melts, the vase falls. I have no idea about the key either, although I'm pretty sure it has to do with the bottle. :s

Has anyone thought of why Amuro as a BO member who is obviously suspicious of Conan but hasn't killed Conan yet. I know its not good to use the movies as a reference, but due to Shiratori starting out as a movie character and then later on becoming a recurring character in the manga brings me down to this point, like doesn't Amuro kinda seem similar to Irish. Not just because they're both blondes but because they both worked with Vermouth. Maybe his reason for keeping Conan alive and wanting to 'take' Haibara back to the Org was similar to Irish's. Maybe Amuro's motive is to also bring down Gin because he killed Akemi, whereas in Irish's case it was Pisco who was murdered by Gin.
