Using your phone while in the tub? What if you dropped it?

You'd just lose the phone at most, really. A cell phone or cordless phone doesn't have nearly enough charge while in operation to harm someone in a bath. You can actually even save the phone in most cases if you dry it out quickly enough.

Funny thought. At the moment thinking Mr Bond and all his funny gadgets. What if Vermouth had a cell phone that could also shock people ( In other words that phone was used to put Sera to sleep ) Remember this is a what if. What if that phone shock part was activated by pressure (Like water pressure in the bottom of a bathtub could set it off) And what if In that pix Vermouth was currently using that phone? (In the bathtub, a phone shocker with enough juice to put a person to sleep and could be activated by water pressure) Could something like that be lethal if Vermouth were to drop it in to the bathwater?

I know what you mean, I once dropped mine in the water and when I took it for service they asked me almost the value of a brand new phone for repairs. More than that, when I took it there the display had only a few black lines(dead pixels) and when I got it back the display wasn't working at all anymore. So I had to change the display and now I'm still using the phone, just that it doesn't recognize any headphones

I have to agree with him, that was hardly fanservice. The first Vermouth panel is from a distance and in the second one you can just see the top of the shoulders. As for her being naked, of course she would be in the bathtub.
Other fanservice I saw quite recently, you can read the last The World God Only Knows chapter to get an idea

Just because an example of fanservice isn't as explicit as another, doesn't mean it stops being fanservice. It's a sexy lady in the bathtub. You can't tell me it isn't fanservice.

Hell, the definition of fanservice is merely "a service for the fans". In a way, the Kaitou Kid chapter that's next is a form of fanservice, even if it isn't sexually suggestive (though I do know some people that consider sharp-dressed men as sexually suggestive...)

I am not sure about the trick but i think it was something like this: Kotone went to the room,killed the victim,put the ice under the racket to create the elusion of the air conditioner and setting the vase so that it will fall to the ground after some time (I don't know how, apparently she used ice and fire ). What I am missing is how  did she get rid of the key and how did she move the victim body? Any idea?
btw does Amuro know Shiho's appearance when she was a child??I think the B.O may have photos for her, right??such thing will be very dangerous

I think I have a rough idea of how she set the vase, and how she moved the body, both involving the ice. Like you said, she put the ice under the racket. I think by sitting the victim on top of the racket with the ice underneath it, threading a fishing line or some strong string through the racket, closing the door, then pulling on the line, the body ends up in front of the door.
As for the vase, I think she put the ice inside the vase in such a way that the centre of balance is off, so when the ice melts, the vase falls. I have no idea about the key either, although I'm pretty sure it has to do with the bottle. :s

Oooo, yeah. Amuro will quite possibly have a picture of Shiho when she was young, especially because she grew up in BO. Even if he doesn't, it's quite easy to figure out Haibara is somehow related to Shiho, especially with her hair color and resemblence to her mother Amuro refers to. Extra pressure for Conan to keep them away from each other XD

Maybe Akai showed up as himself because Vermouth was disguised as him earlier. He probably thought Amuro might think it was appearance by Vermouth. Both Amuro and Vermouth were keeping part of their plan from each other (Amuro planning to take Shiho away while Vermouth planned to kill her). It's easy for Amuro to believe Vermouth dressing up as Akai was another part of Vermouth's plan he did not know about.

Plus, Akai probably still wanted to keep the Okiya cover in case Amuro and Akai met in the future. If Okiya showed up as Okiya, Amuro will register Okiya as enemy. For now, Akai can pretend to be stranger (Okiya) around Amuro in case they have a chance meeting.

Most of all, I believe it was used as tension building and grand reveal by Aoyama more than anything. That was the chapter where everyone's identity was revealed to the audience. What better way to reveal that Akai is still alive than to show him in person? Aoyama led his audience to believe Akai died, and wala, Akai is still alive! A little sloppy writing in my opinion (like you pointed out, it was very risky thing for Akai to do), but it made the reveal more dramatic.

Especially if you don't want to rely on dialogue to make the reveal, like most mangaka do (which is why most manga have terrible sections where shadowy figures throw a lot of vague sentences around so that they're telling the readers what they want to know without actually saying anything. I hate that. I seriously do).

I agree with you. I said sloppy because story-wise, Akai's action was risky. Akai, so far, has been a very careful person, and his action seems to go against his character. However, like you said, I prefer this over wordy explanation. Picture is worth a 1000 words is so true when it comes to drawing manga. I would prefer an insignificant plot-hole (like this one) over long dialogues any day.

I think that this is the way for making Amuro not disappear since he is now the only BO member that Akai and Conan have around. If I recall that during the Crash of Red and Black Akai said something that if you have bait and not using it that bait have no value. Few months have pass since when Kir have came back to the BO and the only information that they got from her is about Bourbon so a little bit ineffectively (and after all she is from CIA, so her priority is giving the information to her co-worker first). Unlike Conan Akai prefer to keep the BO member around to have a change to spies on him and get more information, so in order to keep Bourbon as Amuro a little bit longer he used himself as a bait, of course he couldn’t said clearly that Akai is still alive because it would affect Kir.
After all Gousho – sensei probably want to finish Conan in few years so it a time to give the main storyline go a little bit faster because until now with those 76 volumes Conan haven’t got much information about BO (except few their members name, some death, some alive and living somewhere unknown, a Anokata’s mail address, that BO is developing drug and IT). In order to protect Haibara and himself he has to do that, but Akai I think he can put himself into the danger in order to gain the information. A little bit risky however I think Akai as Amuro’s rival should know more about Bourbon’s personality and probably he had count it into his plan.

Now that I think about it, that makes sense. Akai is using himself to bait Amuro. I still think it's a very risky situation, but Akai has an advantage of being familiar with Amuro's thought process.
