Ran has mistaken Kaito as Shinichi several time, will be epic if next time Ran saw Kaito and decided to call Shinichi's number to confirm it, and Kaito picked up.

I kinda wonder if a DCW wiki page should be set up about the different phones. Bit like the one about the cars in DC. Could also include stuff like which hand Aoyama usually draw people holding them with and so on

In any case, smartphones do seem somewhat underused in the manga. Nowadays people use them for so many functions (games, music, reminder, internet, etc) and yet in the manga it's mainly used only for the main phone functions like texting, calling, and occasional emails. Other functions like internet, camera, and video call are rarely used.
I personally think that smartphone is very handy for Conan. The next time he blurts out something during the case investigation that a normal 7-year-old kid is not supposed to know, instead of his trademark "I saw it on TV the other day" he could just take out his Xperikan and say, "I just read it on Mikipedia".
