So the Akai-Okiya thing is going to be stretched a little more, I guess. Thankfully Bourbon is still around the main cast (and it looks like he's not going to leave for no reason), so I don't think this new situation (can't really call it "status-quo" yet) will remain for too long, and we'll get a conclusion soon.
We also might get to see Makoto soon which would be nice.
I hope next case we'll get to see Sera and what became of her after the train fiasco.

Also it's a bit hard for me to take this case seriously since it feels a bit like a parody
Conan gets hit by a racket and taken to the house of the person who hit him. In the house, coincidentally, someone is murdered. Conan is the most unfortunate detective in history

Spoiler: Things I'm wondering about (a few of the spoiler pics are in here)

First of all, why is Amuro looking so worried here? He wasn't all that worried when Conan was kidnapped. Maybe it's because Conan actually got hurt (whereas with the kidnapping he would only be hurt if they called the police). I have a feeling it's definitely related to Vermouth's promise. "My policy is not to hurt children, and so long as I'm helping you, you can't let any children be hurt either" is probably along the lines of what Vermouth said.

EDIT: I also love how there are actually people worried about Conan in the stands. ...Though, with how many times Kogoro has punched him (no doubt in the same spot) I'm surprised he actually got knocked out .3.



Little notes about the body:

• Only his left sandal is on
• Tennis racket is under him
• Glasses are off
• His body seems to be in an odd position
• How did the vase end up where it is if it supposedly killed him?

...I have a feeling I'm going to like this case :x

about the case, they surely used some trick using the heat so the guy was most likely killed before, and probably another trick to make either the vase or the body to make a falling sound so that Conan will wake up.
but still, it will be funny to see Conan suspected by the police.

I really love Amuro in this file...he seems really concerned by Conan,even if it's just a promise between him and Vermouth...I really hope he'll join Conan's team in the future but I guess I'm dreaming too much...

And Okiya hacked Ai's phone...I hope Ai will ask some questions to Okiya,now that she knows he's on their side.That would be nice if she investigate on Okiya,because I just can't believe she forgot everything about Okiya being Dai.I can't wait to see how she will interact with him now.

If Amuro stays around Conan and Co,there's a possibility that he'll meet Haibara and make the link between her and Sherry.(in the train case she was behind Ran so I don't think he saw her clearly).
Not to mention that in the Date case,he wanted to meet "Agasa",so he'll probably see her and Okiya as well.
Everything is so exciting^^

Me too, that was so not okay. Or, well, of course it was necessary, but they should have been more apologetic.


As for why Amuro looks worried, I think it's just part of the (still-ongoing) act. The usual cliché goes that JUST before the hero closes his eyes, the bad guy suddenly gets this extremely evil smirk, but that would have been comical and I'm glad that Gosho didn't do it. Also, Conan is a small child. If he didn't look worried, people would probably think he's a huge jerk, when he actually wants to be considered a nice guy.
