Wait, they censored that line?

Why do I remember it so clearly...? ._. I used to only watch the anime and then caught up in the manga. I think I've only seen that part once in the manga and when I did I was like "Aha, I remember this"

MAYBE I'M JUST CRAZY
Could be because people discuss it quite a bit here? I know I heard it mentioned here, way before actually reading that chapter :-X

I entirely fail to see the contradiction here. Gosho gets crap past the radar about sex and innuendo all the time. Cheating is a common culprit motive and is frankly discussed if not depicted. Kogoro advertises about infidelity investigations. Even depictions of sex or innuendo between the major characters are shown. Look at these scenes:
7-9 cover image: Ran imagines Shinichi having sex with a blond women (them nude together are depicted several times in this case)
23-9 pg 17: Hattori "flashes" Ran
24-2 pg 10: A tied up Sato is about to be "ravaged" by the culprit
38-8 pg 1: Just what are Hattori and Kazuha doing in the dark?
46-11 pg 7: Ran imagines Shinichi naked in bed with a naked blond women (they are depicted at least one more time in this case)
55-10 pg 10: Ran imagines Eri naked with the man she is "committing adultery" with.
If you want it to get worse, it's a fairly popular theory (even suggested in one of the official guidebooks) that Gin and Shiho were also romantic partners.

Also a useful DCW thread for reference: Unresolved plots in Detective Conan
Hey Chek,

just checked your list and it's pretty cool. Lots of open plots I forgot.
I'd love to see some links or just hints in what case the plot was last mentioned or something like this.
And where did I miss the confirmation about Vermouth and Gin having a sexual relationship (in the past)?
I think it was during her second appearance: It's when they meet in a bar, after Gin sees through her disguise as a waiter. She asks him if he wants to "mix a martini" with her. (The drink, Martini, consists of Gin and Vermouth.)
That still doesn't confirm they had an sexual relationship.
It's still pretty heavily implied.
And the anime censored that line (to replace it with 'Hey, tell me something, have you found the kitty that got away yet ?) which basically confirms that it referred to a sexual relationship (why else would they censor it ?).
Wasn't a relationship graph released a while back that basically confirmed that Gin and Vermouth have occasional hatesex?

Yes, but it comes from an official guidebook called Conan Drill rather than the manga itself. Conan Drill seems to be the best by far of the official guidebooks I have seen and is entirely manga based, but some people people don't trust it as a source anyway. It's important to note that it was released pre-Vermouth reveal.

Fair enough. I do agree that the subtext is there, regardless.

Maybe because people talk about it a lot.

Seems like a likely explanation.

Wait. Pisco was higher-ranked than Gin? And Gin still talked down on him and offed him?

Gee, Gin, how klingon of you.

Also wow, both Shiho and Chris are implied to have a physical relationship with Gin, with Shiho being his other one. No wonder Haibara fears her the way she does, and no wonder Chris is all SHE MUST BE ERASED.

Gin was given an order to kill Pisco because a photographer happened to capture the moment the gun went off, a big goof on Pisco's part.

Naturally, I want to see more about the comb, and also the mention of the wig hair Sera found.

Yeah, but he didn't have to ENJOY it as much as he did.
