One thing I found it's a little weird, it's the feeling that Haibara has when she encounters a member of the BO, I think all the members of BO smokes a special brand of cigarettes and this can explain why Haibara has a bad feeling from Subaru...
One more thing, is Haibara feels the auro of a BO's member coming from Amuro?

I wouldn't call it fun but I understand what you want to say.
If that should happen, and it possibly will, this chapter could end a ways nobody thought off.

Kid has been involved in Plot related case before...
the one Conan told Agasa about the Boss's phone number when camping and Ai told them to not use it as it is Pandora's box (just realized, the gem Kid is pursuing is named Pandora?)
it had Kid disguising as old hag trying to prevent DB and treasure hunters for finding the diamond(forgot the name of the case)

The wording was a bit different. But just because some plot related stuff was discussed does not make the whole case a plot related episode. Plus it's not like Kid was ever part of the plot, so if Kid appears in this case, it would indeed be the first time that Kid was directly involved in the plot.

Okiya and Yukiko's plan was to take ai out of harm's way and make yukiko disguise as shiho and fake death.

so it directly proves that Okiya knows that ai=shiho

so if Kid appears in this case, it would indeed be the first time that Kid was directly involved in the plot.

Not necessarily.

Even if he makes an appearance, he'd only get really involved in the plot if:

A) He got in the way of Bourbon and/or Vermouth somehow, or
B) He helped Conan, Okiya, Yukiko and/or Haibara in a way that gave them advantage over the BO.

Otherwise, he'd just be a guest appearance that can't help but wonder what the hell is going on. And if Aoyama-sensei hasn't turned back on his word of not mixing Kaito Kid in DC's main plot (at least I recall reading somewhere that he said that?), it will most likely boil down to that: Kid simply being an "innocent" bystander who got in the train to "outsmart" Jirokichi.

(I wouldn't mind a Kid + BO scenario, though. Maybe in one of the totally non-canon movies? It could be called Detective Conan: Clash of Black and White or something like that.)
