yo I watched a couple episodes of Game of Thrones the other day ago, pretty good.

My one beef was, I had no idea what was going on at first.  They do a pretty bad job at explaining the world right away, so it's very confusing.  If I wasn't watching it with my friend who has already seen the series and looked up information online about it - I'd be clueless.

I found myself asking "who dat?" or like "wait so whats the relationship between the blonde guy and Boromir?" and stuff like that.

Pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed Season 1. Falling Skies Season 2, get hype!

since they're adaptations from very long books, they don't really have the time to explain everyone in detail. And it's confusing at first, but you'll definitely pick things up at least by the first half of the first season.

*Sigh* ANOTHER remake.

This time, it's Beauty and the Beast, taking the chracter names from the old 80's series. (which was great.)

The main reason, why I think this will badly suck:

- Kristen Kreuk as the main character. I hate her. I deeply hate her. She can't act, but is still getting roles were she is playing the same Mary-suesish character. (Best example: Lana in Smallville). There are times, when I think that she is just getting roles, becauses she is pulling a "Milla Jovovich" with the CW executives.

- The Beast. This is NOT the Beast. It's basicly the Hulk. Making the beast a scarred, but still handsome guy, who turns into a Hulklike creature just misses everything what forms the BatB story. That it is the inner beauty, which counts. And for some reason I smell that this show will be "Twilighted". (When it gets greenlighted.)
