Why would she lie about her age? 
I thought the ball park case solidified her age, when she said she was "18, just a year older than you".  Also, I'm assuming APTX lowers one's age by 10 years, so, if she was older, wouldn't she look older as Ai (a ot more too, due to maturity at that age). 

The rooftop scene, eh, she didn't even look like Shihoto me, lol.  Compared to the shiho in OVA 9 (which I think is abetter depiction) and all the intro movie scenes with her in the labcoat, they look nothing alike, so blame the anime artists from that period of god awful drawings (have you seen old Sato? 0_0)

Also, I can't remember, but how did Conan know Ai's real name? I never remembered her explicitly telling him.
