Re: NBA Playoffs 2012 Thread Round II
If Celtics beat Miami, I'll concede that Rondo is a better PG than Rio. Actually, I'll concede that regardless of the outcome.
Both the Celtics and Thunder have a solid chance if they can take G5, it's going to be a fun week.

Rio is Mario Chalmers... Come on bro even an 08 Rondo can beat Chalmers 012. Actually since Bosh is 90% playing, if we beat them at MIAMI I say we got this series no matter what(They will be left with nothing to fight for and they lack mental toughness), probably Cs in 6 if that happens... If they take it it's still 50/50 because I don't see us getting eliminated in the Garden...

Rondo is better than Chalmers, there's not really any question about that as far as I'm concerned.
Last night was an exciting game and the Heat yet again outplayed Boston in the latter half, which is likely due to the age of their opponents. The Heat's play in the first half, though, was probably some of the lousiest basketball I've ever seen in my entire life. More importantly, though, the constant fouls and and-1s were getting way out of hand--I don't care which team they were going for, it was becoming impossible to actually watch the game with it being stopped on every play for two minutes of setting up foul shots.

oh okay, never heard of that nickname before..lol
Holmes you be tripping if you will only concede that Rondo is better than Chalmers if they win this series. lol. Â Chalmers is a nobody considering Rondo is like a top-tier PG in the league.
Putting aside Beastly's Green Machine bias, Rondo isn't the best PG in the league (fact) because he ain't better than Derrick or CP3, and he's like 100x better than Mario Chalmers. lol.

It was meant to be a joke! I've said before I'd place Rondo as the 3rd or 4th best in the league behind only CP3, Rose, and maybe Williams.
OKC at SA in less than an hour... Can hardly wait for the upset!

Lamest half of basketball I've seen in quite some time. Flopping and bad calls all over the place. Not sure why Durant and Westbrook are shooting so terribly tonight, although Westbrook has been awful almost this entire series.

What a game despite both teams seemingly under-performing. The Thunder have shut down the Spurs who previously had a 20 game win streak - they deserve this series.

No the Spurs deserve this series!! OKC is gonna win like the next 10 years, let our franchise go out with a bang! Â I refuse to accept this new age of players and style of athletic guard basketball.M.Holmes wrote: What a game despite both teams seemingly under-performing. Anyways, I'm pretty sad. Â The one good qualm I noticed was that Spurs played really hard that 4th quarter, and almost tied the game. Â If they can play that way in a die or go home situation for game 6, it can be pushed to a game 7 on homecourt.
From the most recent games, I just don't feel confident when San Antonio gets the lead, because their defense is so bad and can't stop Kevin Durant, freaking insane. Â It doesn't help that Thabo and Ibaka are having career games in this series as well.
Gotta play perfect this next game, the big 3 all have to play big, none of this only Manu BS I've been seeing, and for the love of god, pass it to Manu more Tony. Â Especially when's he that hot...
