Anime Recommendation Thread

I'm the kind of person who is determined to never drop a series once I've passed the first episode, no matter how bad the series is. This is a personal rule that I have been extremely annoyed at at times, but I haven't broken it yet. =)

only time I've really broken it was Spice and Wolf S1, but I eventually got back to it and finished it.

But there's also the fact that Faye is voiced by Haibara's seiyuu in the Japanese.

Haibara swayed me in the end.  DAT VOICE

even though I do love the dubbeds work as well, Spike's dub voice is much better along with Jet.  Plus the accents are awesome (the skater dude in the weapons shop in episode 2..hahahaha)

I am about to finish Beelzebub and this quite got good humor IMO and enjoyable action scenes. I can't remember having to watch any other gag anime. There could be some but maybe I am not aware that those were under gag genre.

The series may not be as satisfying as GTO or Gokusen but I did enjoy the delinquet parts of the story.

Are there any other good gag anime out there? I'm reluctant starting something so long (e.g. Gintama) so I am not sure if I would want something like that...

Ok, everytime something not for kids happens in Hunter X Hunter (2011), I'm gonna post it here.

Hisoka takes a bloody card from inside of what remains of his right arm. LITTLE KIDS.
And there goes the left arm.
Hell, it had blood that is red. That already puts it ahead of Conan.
Hisoka uses his left arm like a rocket punch! ROBOT HISOKA, YES!

When I wrote that, they were censoring the heck out of everything. I changed my view after Hisoka's fight. I was actually about to drop it.

Haha, I didn't want to watch the series twice...I wasn't the big fan of Bebop anyway, I think it's slightly overrated, but still a very good series.
