How long would DC last?

yeah huh... it took about 12 years to air 500 episodes... so i guess we're gonna have to wait another 12 years for it to reach the 1000th episode... hahaha

They are talking about the manga not the anime..... Chapter for Manga, Episode for anime.....

But you are right on somethin... actually DC manga has 657 chapters. more than 500 ep in the anime. If Gosho ends DC manga on 1412 (That would be great) it will take more than 12 years to end the anime

I was thinking Gosho would hit around the 90s or (hopefully) the early 100s, volume-wise.  It's legitimate to say the 1000th file (or even 1412, that would be GREAT! ), so that's very possible.  I really hope he doesn't drag it out as far as 110 volumes at least.     I don't know how far I can go with storage then.  And Viz would probably be publishing the volumes for years on end, maybe even surpassing Ranma 1/2's 16-year English run.
