First anime you ever watched?

Either Yu Yu Hakusho or Hikaru no Go... I watched them at about the same time so yeah.

And I watched them when I was 7. Yes, SEVEN. I sooo did not freak out when Hiei got his arm chopped off.

And you know what? I still love YYH. GO KURAMA!!!!! >3<

Good to see that Yu Yu Hakusho was the first one to a lot of people, it's still the best anime i have seen and i think it will never change, one day i'll show it to my young brother!

My first actual anime that I watched was Pocket Monsters. The first one I completed was Cardcaptor Sakura. I've been an otaku since I was seven, so it's been around ~9 years since I started watching anime. Though, to be honest, my first subbed anime was Tokyo Mew Mew. I have a huge collection of anime DVDs everywhere 8)b

Moero! Top Striker when I was little and not aware what is an anime.
So I really started watching consciously with Yu Yu Hakusho too. Still a top favorite.

Although it's showing how old I am, but it was Transformers(the G1 version from the 80's). I didn't even know until later on that it was anime.

my first would be Yu Yu Hakusho (Ghost Fighter) i was 4 or 5 i think back then)
after that, Dragon Ball (& Z) Ranma 1/2, Yaiba, Doraemon, Time Quest, Love Hina, Hunter x Hunter... and the list goes on.........
its pretty much the 90's anime.

mangas ive read so far was Hunter x Hunter Chimera Ant Arc and some parts of Tenjho Tenge

Since you said this, I now wonder if my first anime series was Voltron (the one from 1984) or may be Transformers. My older cousin of five years was a huge fan of both, especially Voltron. I watched the show with him, even though I didn't care for it.
