Shiho, with no doubt! 8) However...

Why "Miyano Shiho" instead of "Haibara Ai"? Isn't it kinda unfair towards Ai? It's not like we've seen enough of Shiho.. =/

we haven't seen enough shiho to judge her beauty $:-\$ (she was only wearing a janitor outfit,and glasses,no wonder if people say she isn't beautiful...)

I put Miyano Shiho just to pair it with her sisterÂ´s, Chianti added, as two people want her ... maybe there are more.

Thanks for explaining, as if I didn't know that Ai's too young to be called a lady..

What I meant was that Shiho only appeared once, so including her here is unfair towards her, especially that the one who created this poll said "I added the ones that appear most".
Since this is a poll about DC ladies that appear most, maybe Ai/Shiho shouldn't be included at all (since Ai appeared most but isn't a lady yet, and Shiho is a lady but appeared only once).
If I wanted to include Ai/Shiho, I'd make this a poll about "DC girls who appear most, no matter their ages", and then add her as "Haibara Ai".

I voted for Shiho because I truly think she is the most beautiful (both in her real form and child form).
Actually, one of the reasons why Ai's my favorite character is because she's, IMO, the most beautiful Manga girl ever.

Well, from that criteria you would have to remove others from that list too. Yui for example who was only in 3 cases, same with Chianti and YÃ´ko who didn't appear that more often.

Sure, we usually consider our favorite anime characters as "beautiful" (or "cool", "funny" or whatever...) - or maybe they become our favorite characters because they have traits and the appearance that we like. So usually you will vote for your favorite.
However when asked for a specific characteristic (like beauty) there might be other charas which exceed your favorite in that specific field (but might be lacking in another character trait that you deem important). When asking for the nicest DC chara... you probably won't vote for Gin even though he might be your favorite.

I don't think we can set apart beauty from charm that easily. We may be able if we don't know them or their personalities, but once we do (as in this series we all follow), it's not that easy anymore. It's obviously that their behaviour, ideas, and other psychological aspects will influence the way we see them. It happens the same in real life, that when we get to know someone we can even see him/her more attractive if we like their personality. That's why I say we should differentiate between "beauty" (as a raw characteristic) and "charm" (were we have to add their personalities, that affects the way we see them). And since I don't think I can judge just the beauty of the characters after 700+ manga chapters, I have to judge their charm, or their appeal to me. And thus, I vote for my favorite character overall.

But exactly that was what the poll asked you to do: Judge their beauty.
Sure, you can't be completely objective, for example since I do not care about Vermouth I just ignored her without considering if she might be more beautiful than YÃ´ko.

Still, this is not a vote about the favorite (female; 15+ years old) character.

Yes, I know, but I think that many people may think the same, so instead of not voting, I voted for my favorite one, and I don't think that would distort the meaning of the poll very much, since I think that she's one of the most beautiful as well.

I only talked about Ai/Shiho because she's the one that interests me the most.

I agree with everything said above, but I think you still don't understand what I said.
Ai/Shiho, for me, is the most beautiful DC character, and no other character (even Yukiko and Vermouth who come second and third for me) exceed her in the "beauty domain". And I'm not saying this because she's my favorite character; it's actually the other way around.
And by the way, if I were to vote for the nicest DC character, I wouldn't vote for Ai, I'd probably vote for Ran (who is actually my least favorite character). Ai is nice and kind, indeed, but she's not yet the nicest one in DC for what we've seen.
See, it's not like I can't vote objectively. XD
