No one said Bourbon can't smoke.
But a FBI said Akai like drinking Bourbon.

It's actually a quite realistic response for someone who's claustrophobic to do something like kill someone in the process of trying escape from or trying to refrain from going into an enclosed space. Someone who is phobic will feel anxiety whenever in the presence of or in the anticipation of their feared stimuli, and some will be anxious to the point of having panic attacks, which is definitely what happened in this case.

Instead, I would think the victim was rather stupid for trying to help him get over his phobia just from reading a book about it. Leave stuff like that to the specialists. They have a degree for a reason. :-\ Or to be cynical, hopefully they have a degree for a reason. >_>

Yeah, I think so too. Somehow the rest of teh case or the handling of the case was a bit off for me. It was not boring, but... something similar.

I think the victim should have locked the door from the outside and not put a axe next to a person about to go crazy.

I'm still hoping the DB somehow all get an cold in the same day as the train case so they are not able to make it...

I disagree, I think it was good enough. We were supposed to understand that the guy panicked and went berserk, not acted rationally.

The resolution would have sucked pretty much if it wasn't for Conan's explanation regarding the Woman holding the shape of the person she loved close to her heart or whatever that was. It kind of helped the resolution from not becoming entirely lame. But still, pretty mediocre.
yes, if it wasn't for Conan's explanation, i would've hated this chapter. i mean I don't know how it's like to be claustrophobic, but you don't go and kill the woman you love with an axe just because of that. You can try to smash the door like Shiho did or the window, but not kill someone. If I was Conan, I would've told that explanation to the guy himself. Not to mention i would smack him once in his face before that for being that stupid.
Indeed. I can somehow still manage to imagine him going in such a panic that he ultimately ended up with the axe in his hand and hit her in the darkness, but to try to dispose of the body by burying it at such a thought-out place? That requires some rational thinking, which means he couldn't have been in the state of panic during which one loses all rational thoughts. Plus, still trying to deny it afterwards, the heck man, he doesn't really seem to regret it. I'd expect he'd at least call the police about the accident, because I dunno, that's at least one thing I would do when I'd feel guilty about it? It's his frigging wife, not some stranger he never met. Plus, even barricading some kids in a wooden cabin and setting it on fire? Seriously?! Empathy = 0,0 my dear. :^[ If he's not a psychopath, then I'm Mahatma Ghandi.

Seems like Conan didn't teach them well. :P But anyway, the passwords they're using don't amount to much either. I mean, your birthdate? Really? That's about the first thing a hacker cracker (hackers are the ones who do it for companies, to test their security systems) will try out, lol. And well, the numbers which sound like your name ... original, but certainly still not safe. They could've used ABC123 as well, it would've been equally bad.

Ah well, let's look forward to next case! Hopefully it'll really set things in motion this time ...

I'm about to faint. I can't believe how many things happened in this file. I'm still trying to put the pieces together but I can't say who is the most suspicious.

Well, depending on how it was hacked, the mouse may have started to cursor may have started to move on its own and acted as if someone were sitting there using it.  Or everything got deleted without warning.  There's a myriad of ways he'd have known.
Seems like Conan didn't teach them well.
To be fair, his question made sense at the time.  It's not like it was just asked out of thin air.

Shiho Miyano have finally appeared. Thanks to mitsuhiko who video taped her without her knowing had awakened the candidates for bourbon. Masumi sera, Subaru Okiya and Mouri's disciple ( I forgot his name). Two to protect her and one to kill her. Which is can it be?

I am loving this case. The ending was amazing. So now that all those three knows who Haibara really is, I really can't wait for future developments. This is so great!

Well yeah, but I'm still surprised he noticed it so fast. One moment he's still watching the video, and the other he suddenly *ding!* knows someone is cracking the computer. He doesn't even need to check whether he himself didn't alter something by accident (if e.g. things got deleted). Even if it was the video itself that got deleted, Amuro wouldn't notice until he tried to load the video in a video player again. The video is already fully loaded into the video player when Amuro watches it, so no possibility of stopping him seeing the whole deal. Oh, and the cracker visibly moving the mouse is only possible if the current user (i.e. Amuro on Kogorou's account) agrees on letting the cracker take control over the account.
Seems like Conan didn't teach them well.

Alright, but you shouldn't just spell out the password, as they did. You could just explain a few tactics you use on creating a password that'll stick in your memory.

It's called improvising. It would have been one thing if there was any evidence of all of this being planned before hand, but there isn't any.

WOOT! It feels great seeing Shiho again, especially in normal clothes and without Conan's glasses...

I can see Okiya getting a ticket for the train without any problems (if any asks (though there is no reason to) he can just say he's a mystery fan), and Sera is definitely going to use sticking with the DB as an excuse to get on the train too,
but I wonder how Amuro can sneak off to the train without dragging Ran and Mouri with him (I think it would seem weird to them if he just spontaneously decided to go to where Conan has been planning to go without a good excuse (of course he doesn't have to tell them, but Conan can if he sees him on board)).

I wonder how long the train arc will be? My guess is: seven, or at least no less than five.
Someone mentioned this earlier, and I agree. The train case will probably involve a bomb since the thing about trains is that even if a crime is occurring at that moment, you can't escape OR wait/call for help.

As for the other speculation on the next case. The only way KID would fit into this would be if a series of cases occurred on the train, with KID's being the first one leading up to the gran BOrbon finale.
