In our country it NEVER snows. That means there isn't any (or a very few) clothing being sold that is needed to withstand a very low temperature. Not to mention the homeless persons here, they're dressed to withstand the heat, NOT the cold... And if it snows, they have a 20% chance of survival rate at beststill.looking wrote:I think we're programmed genetically to withstand extreme heat and humidity, not cold.Akonyl wrote:maybe you should stop bein allergic to snow or somethin then.hakkaino7 wrote:Lol, a lot of people will die when it snows here in our countrystill.looking wrote: It doesn't snow in our country.Lucky you, though. It's actually the same as you, 18". Hence why I called rather than raised.
Oh, and posts in the off-topic forum don't raise your post count as of a few weeks ago.

I think when she said "we're", she's not talking about all of the people, but is talking about her countrymen.c-square wrote: Beautiful picture, Akonyl! Makes me want to go skiing!!
I disagree. I don't deal well with heat and humidiy at all, but I can handle cold no problem. I think it depends on what you're used to.still.looking wrote: I think we're programmed genetically to withstand extreme heat and humidity, not cold.

No snow ever falls here in HK...
The most you get to see is frost on the leaves on the highest mountain in HK. IN THE HECK OF MORNING.
And that's very cold for you here... lol.

Re: snow :O
It's STILL snowing
We have ten inches now, which is actually incredible considering that we've had about three inches in the last seven years combined. It's been snowing for three days straight. It's been snowing so much that when I was playing the Sims 2 yesterday that it was snowing in THAT so much that there was a snow day and the kids started cheering because they didn't have to go to school XDXDXDXD (I'm sure real meterology doesn't affect the Sims 2, but it was cool anyway XD )

Re: snow :O
The east coast actually had a snow storm last Saturday. In my area we got about 20 inches.
We normally don't get snow until around January.

Re: snow :O
Whee snow! Not really tons-and-tons or anything, but snow. Or at least I don't think it was all that much....I think we only got about 6inches or so....here in southern New Hampshire. Started snowing Saturday night, kept snowing through around half of Sunday or so...very pretty, but very cold (I don't care for cold all that much). I dragged my husband out of bed around 10am Sunday to shovel out the car. Probably at least a 4inch accumulation on the car at that point, and it was still coming down...actually coming down faster than I could clear off the car! But we managed. I had to be at work for noon.
I am looking forward to a white xmas. *^_^*
But snow is much more fun with kids...~_~*

I have finally started to actually publish my story! For the moment, expect a new chapter each month.
The Case of the Midnight Channel
"When a strange letter summons the Mouri family to Inaba, Ran is expecting a case. She's not expecting it to involve the TV, though.
If Naoto investigated everyone who came to visit Inaba, she'd have little time for real cases. When Yukiko reports that the Midnight Channel is back, however, she starts to wonder if the visitors are connected. Especially when the image clears, unveiling yet another mystery."

Short version: I'm taking various DC/MK characters to Inaba (where Persona 4 takes place) and dropping them through the TV to face their Shadows!
