That one kinda isn't funny given the rants everyone just had at the petition claiming that the movie inferred that adopted kids were evil.

That's why it's so good.

I'm so stealing some of those pics when I get home later. Especially the stark/banner one.

I can see this coming, but it is a good news anyway. Avengers reach $ 1 billion ($1,002,082,000), and still in its second week.

You people are nuts.  That being said, I kind of want to see it while I'm in Japan.  >_>

Yes.

Yes it was.  However, seeing it that many times that close together is odd.  Give it time to sink in, and so you may have forgotten some scenes before seeing it again.  Also, to let the lines die down a bit.

oh, cool, have fun! :)

And I swear, you guys will all be "huh? Avengers?" when the third batman comes out.  Hell, I'll probably even forget about it when that new Men in Black is out.  Then all the fangirls will be like "Will Smith is so coooooll ugugugugugug"

Oh please.  The first Batman was nice, but hardly amazing like Iron Man, Captain America, or Thor were.  It's only because of Heath Ledger's freaking amazing performance that The Dark Knight is as legendary as it is.  He's not in the third one, so it'll likely be on par with the first one.  And you're just an MIB fanboy.  :P

I'm looking forward to Dark Knight Rises, but I am still utterly in love with The Avengers. It's just too good. I do agree that the main strength of Dark Knight was every single scene with the Joker, but hopefully DKR will still be good. And I'm not looking forward to MIB3 a huge amount. The other two weren't exactly brilliant. Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are good, and that's why they're decent, but otherwise, eh.

...Because it is. It's not bad, but it's not as good.
