It was really helpful in telling posts apart. For everyone else, I have to take a look at the avatar or even read the name, for Silver, the post text was sufficient. Also, no idea how people can find four characters that annoying

@Callid: Smileys are different. Since you always read "~nya" when you read the post, but with smiley, you don't really think/read "smiley", but see it unconsciously. Kinda. You know what I mean... *flees*

Your "~nya" looks like your... signature (kind of fits the definition too). So that's where I always thought it belonged.

It would be annoying at times when you're reading a long post to think you're talking to an actual cat. But I personally don't mind it when it's short enough.
