If I can go back to the previous discussion, not that I want it to start again, I do think that part of the reason why many are annoyed by the ~nyas is not only that it is a nya but that it something that is said all the time. If I ended all my sentences with "ya know" people would hate that too. I know that it drives me insane at the very least, both in writing and talking.
