Age of Edogawa?
The wiki's said he's 6-7 years old. But what episode did Conan said he's already 10 or did he said that? Sorry, I think this is non sense but I'm curious and can't sleep till I know the answer. hehe

This was in a recent AO, but in the red leaf mystery case he said he was 7. He don't get asked about age that often.

Re: Age of Edogawa?
I ran into this when rewatching episode 411, at the 02:10 mark Conan remakred that he is not 10 anymore, but he is talking about the fact that Shinichi is actually 17, not about Conan's age. In the manga version(V48-File 1-page 2) he simply said he is not a kid anymore, again talking as Shinichi, not Conan.Evil-eyed Yawny Girl wrote: The wiki's said he's 6-7 years old. Re: Age of Edogawa?
Slightly off-topic, but if there was one thing I could change about the series, it'd be the fact that time seems to have stopped (he'd have to be solving a ton of cases per day if it actually hasn't been over a year yet canonically).
I realize it might be a slight logistical headache for Gosho, but it'd make the series a lot more immersive (a preteen detective boys would be quite entertaining) and we'd know if the drug nullified the effects of aging (possibly a reason he isn't doing the series that way). I'd be interested to hear a question regarding the canonical time progression come up during one of his interviews - then we'd know more.

I believe he said DC runs on "Sazae-san" time (a.k.a. "Time progression? Pfft, who cares about that? This is lasting as long as it lasts, time be damned.M.Holmes wrote: Slightly off-topic, but if there was one thing I could change about the series, it'd be the fact that time seems to have stopped (he'd have to be solving a ton of cases per day if it actually hasn't been over a year yet canonically).

Re: Age of Edogawa?
Well, as the series began in sometime around 1994, at that time he was 7.. So, logically he must be 18+7 = 25 by now. But believe me he's still just 7.
When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.
And Ofc. There is always only one truth!
At last.. Be yourself always, always put a smile, be happy .. cause we're not the one to decide when our smile vanishes. . . Forever..

Re: Age of Edogawa?
I don't recall any information which would let people guess the timeline prior to ch189. So you would never know if the series should be located in 1994. For what we knew back then, author might have be telling a future story as well. The first time-based information should be the 98' World Cup in ch189 =) For that reason, i don't feel like giving those years to conan actual age XD let him stay youngershubhoshinichi wrote: Well, as the series began in sometime around 1994, at that time he was 7.. Re: Age of Edogawa?
At least in the german manga, Shinichi is holding a newpaper from 12. January 1994 in the first volume... But I assume that that is not in the original version, is it?
