I'd also like to ask everyone, once it releases in the US, to keep spoilers confined to this topic or in clearly marked spoilers tags at least until Monday.  Give people a chance to watch the movie during the weekend if they aren't seeing it on Thursday/Friday without being unwantingly spoiled.

Have fun, apparently, you'll have a bonus scene that we didn't!

Has anyone scene this? There's no spoiler because it was set during Thor, but it's awesome , because Coulson's awesome(and I really need to find new words in my vocabulary):

That was amazing!  Coulson... where'd he learn all that?  I mean, I know he's an agent, but he never exhibits any sort of fighting ability elsewhere...

I'd heard of that, but never seen it before because it's only on the Thor Blu-Ray and I have the DVD :x C'mon, we all knew Coulson had to be a badass- he hangs out with Maria Hill, Natasha Romanov and Clint Barton, after all...

Why.
Why are you doing this to me.
I can't see it tonight because I have school. ;.;

And so unlike you people who are out of school, I HAVE TO GO TO THAT DAMN PLACE FOR SIX AND A HALF HOURS. -sobs-

But I'll be able to see it after school~

I feel like I'm going to be squealing all over it, and I will be even more 'loki'd' than I already am.

BTW, I heard something interesting on Tumblr today... about Joss Whedon writing in a certain word that nobody knows... but it's apparently a really bad word. XD

I`ll going ahead and watch the Avengers which should be 4 hours from this post. I got 2 tickets which is tonight and Sunday night. And I will waste my 10-hours time tomorrow to re-watch IronMan, The Incredible Hulk, IronMan 2, Thor, and Captain America The First Avenger. And I should be ready to re-watch the awesomeness of The Avengers at Sunday night. Man, what a great week I have

Have now viewed the film. Can be summed up in one word:

Amazing.

Without any doubt the best superhero movie to date, hands down, no question. I don't normally watch movies in theaters more than once, but I may make an exception here.

(Also, as was requested earlier: Let's keep details of the movie in spoiler boxes until at least Monday, since some peeps won't be seeing it until later in the weekend)

That must be the word I discussed with mangaluva, it's the V-word (as my flatmates would put it.)

The word and its explanation, below:
Spoiler:
When Loki is in his cell and yelling at Black Widow, he calls her a "quim". This is an antiquated English swear word that has fallen out of use but used to be the equivalent of c-u-n-t. Joss Whedon, you sneaky bastard XD
And @Jd-: I KNOW, RIGHT? NOW YOU SEE WHY I'VE BEEN SO HYPER SINCE I SAW IT! : DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
