I'll go with 3. I can bake stuff, I can steam vegetables and make pasta and actually do most stuff so long as the recipe's sitting in front of me, I just genuinely cannot be arsed and am not above just grabbing a tin of spaghetti-os even when I have decent food around.

No, you'd be surprised by how many people can't do it even given a recipe and ingredients.  Unless by directions you mean someone standing there telling you what to do, in which case... yeah.

if there was a more skilled cook just standing there doin nothing, I'd ask them why they weren't cooking it instead
