The way DBz ran into murderer while camping thing reminds me a bit of the Desperate Revival Arc, so maybe we will see the antidote used.

Sera's "I run into because of Fate"explanation is A. Stalker B. SeraXShinichi.

I am going to guess this is a 3 file small case to serve as the lead in to the Bourbon Arc Conlcusion 6+ file case on the Bell Tree Express Train.

Those were my thoughts while reading, specially when Conan started sneezing because of cold, it made me think we are going to see Shinichi , not Shiho (unless Gosho is misleading us) and Sera will meet with him.

Haibara shouldn't mix them together with any pills. It will be complete disaster if she had it spill on floor when running away from murderer. It seems like she didn't sleep enough.

Refer to OP 31 and see that Detective Boys were not scared of snakes. Conan is too careless for forgetting to charge his smartphone, the reason for Sera borrowing her smartphone is either to get Conan's fingerprints or Haibara's phone number.

How do Haibara called police while she is in forest with poor signal for using phone, don't tell me these 2 officers are bogus officers who are cahoots for a culprit who buried a corpse.

Really?From what I understand it's conan who took the APTX while she was looking for cold medecine(among the many other kind of pills she brought).

If I recall correctly Agasa gave the antidote to Conan which he mistook for cold medicine. It looks like Conan took the antidote from the pill organizer Haibara is holding. She really isn't being that sloppy since she seems to have it separated from the other pills and is giving Conan the cold medicine herself so that such a mix-up doesn't happen again.

Back to the file.. It was quite great to see all the Bourbon suspects in the chap even though Okiya appeared in flashbacks all three of of them were in it. Sera wants Conan to phone Haibara with her smartphone.. I directly thought she wanted Haibara's number but why would she want Conan's fingerprints? Isn't she convinced Conan=Shinichi or is there another reason for her wanting his fingerprints?
About the antidote it would be interesting to see Haibara takes it and gets to confront Sera in her adult form.
But then I don't think it'll happen xD
While Haibara seems to be hesitating if Okiya is Dai or not... She still thinks in a part of her head that Okiya might be a bad guy by saying "to keep my position in mind and not to put up a useless resistance".

Not possible because you don't bury the body by yourself unless it is a MURDER.

She called the police when she still had reception... She just wasn't able to connect to Conan since his battery died.

Then they holed up in the mountain cabin, where there was poor reception, so the Professor wasn't able to call her, nor was she able to call anyone else.

I thought the main reason for offering the phone was to get Haibara's number.
And getting fingerprints would be definite proof then too, since she's a detective, she wants it to be proven for sure I guess. She could also blackmail Conan then, the same way Heiji did :x

But I think it's more the phone number, since Sera could just visit Ran and "borrow" something from conan.

So some days ago there was wolfman's post about a new theory and whilst discussing it someone reminded me that usually a Gosho case involves a mystery to solve. That he lays out clues for us to find and if we manage we won't be surprised by the outcome. This made me wonder about the current case. Do we even have a mystery?

Assuming that the axe we saw was not used to slaughter some animal, it's likely that the cabin is the place where the woman was murdered. (It doesn't look like suicide or accidental death.) This means we have the place where the crime was committed (cabin), the weapon (axe), the body and likely the culprit and the evidence as well.
We've got the culprit because there are only 2 bags in the cabin – one for the (dead) woman and one for her companion and there are no traces of other people. As using an axe looks spontaneous and as he wanted to bury her that near the campground I doubt he planned the murder. There is the lower part of the axe's stick that's got no blood on it. If he grabbed it there and didn't wear gloves (not intended and I usually don't even bring any when camping either) then that's the evidence we need. The clothes with the blood splatters should be somewhere nearby as well and could be found by dogs. Apart from that the DB witnessed him.

We usually have to either identify the trick (1 suspect) or the culprit and the trick (3 suspects). As someone mentioned the similarities to the desperate revival arc, even in that cave with the tunnels we had a mystery: to deduce which way the DB have to take to get to the exit and escape the murderers who shot Conan. Even if it's imbedded into a long important arc, it still doesn't fit. Compared to Vermouth arc we had the case on the ship that was solved by Heiji and the mystery around Araide; compared to Red vs. Black we had the case in the hospital where Kir was treated.

I'm confused as to what we have to deduce this case. IF the above mentioned is correct, then the only thing missing would be the motive... which at least seems too simple.

However the cabin wasn't locked when the DB arrived so maybe some third party played the same stunt on them as Sera did on Conan? In this case there would be someone (the dead woman's companion) who knows about the cabin and who will come back to check on it after having done whatever errand he had to do. So the DB could easily be found and get help. If not, they can still have Genta take down the window of the second room with the axe - without needing the help of Shiho.
