Well if Haibara takes the antidote and turns back into Shiho at least she will have the axe to defend the kids with.
Spoiler:
but if she does, how do you think she'll explain that to the others(Ayumi, Genta, Mitsuhiko)? Actually I'm thinking the pill could creat a great evant considering Sera and maybe Amuro might get involved sooner or later(Amuro much later I guess since he is still ao Poirot). I think Sera and Conan will handle this case and save them, while the pill will be useful later on, now that Amuro is suspicious of Agasa and of who was driving the Subaru during that chase

Haibara said she carries the antidote for emergency...I wonder why she would use it in front of Amuro and Sera...She really has to be in danger like during the Pisco case.

Spoiler:
She could always send them to another room. Or if they see her claim it was something else Agasa made. They are kids they would believe anything almost.

If they do believe her, then they'd probably ask if they can have one of those "become a grown-up" pills, too.

That'd be hilarious xD

I think she could "pretend" to leave, take the pill and return as a strange woman Ai has asked for help. The only problem is, where'd she get clothes from. Or what if the guy knocks the DBs out, Ai regains conscience first and then takes the pill. Of course, there's always the issue of them recognising her, but well, what's more likely, that she just looks like Ai or that she's Ai who's grown up all of a sudden?
Anyway, my instincts do strongly point to "We'll see Shiho in this case." Why else the set up with the pills? I bet that this case will end on a cliffhanger. They solve the case, Shiho waits patiently to turn back... but suddenly, Sera sees her! Or maybe she sees her while she's turning back?

I guess there are some clothes in the hut,I don't think this is the most important problem...Your theory of the DB being knock out is interesting,it is a good way for her to use to pill without being seen by the DB.
I'm wondering...If Ai takes the pill, how long will it last?considering she has never used the pill herself, maybe the effects will last longer than the effect on Shinichi...maybe a week?
Considering Gosho said the confrontation between Sera and Ai will be spectacular,I'm pretty confident we'll see Shiho...I really can't wait for that to happen^^

lol. Sera seems to be encouraging Conan to "call" Shinichi.
Spoiler:
Apparently(according to shuu's translation in the spoiler box)Sera is encouraging Conan to call Haibara...
This is even more suspicious and makes us think that Sera/Haibara confrontation is close^^
Spoiler:
Which means that this case might as very well be the conclusion to the Bourbon arc. After all, Gosho did say that the confrontation between Sera and Ai would happen after the Bourbon arc, right?
@july: hm. Interesting. I still think that it's because Amuro is Bourbon and is going to use Sera as bait, but the addition of his intreest in Agasa is suspicious...
hopes for this.

If this is going to be conclusion of the Bourbon arc, we need the other 2 Bourbon suspects-Okiya and Amuro to teleport to the scene to make that happen. Not inconceivable but might be surprising.

this case doesn't need to be the conclusion to the Bourbon arc.
Spoiler:
we already have Sera and Conan that can handle the case and I also want to see the 2 of them solving the case together. I wonder if he'll play the 'childish Conan' or we'll see the normal Conan working on the case without worrying about Sera's supicions, since they already figured Ayumi, Genta, Ai and Mitsuhiko are in danger after seeing the murderer.
As for Haibara's antidote, I hope she saves it for later on, to make the conclusion of the Bourbon arc more interesting(she was saying before that she wants to see the effect on Conan first, then decide if she wants to take it herself). It would be funny to see Shinichi having to take care of the DB and then have Ayumi see how similar he acts during cases compared to 'normal Conan'. Then she willl start to like him(woman intuition + him being the same person as Conan) and Haibara joke about like she did before I think.
I really think Okiya is Bourbon. IMO he has the most moments in the series to be suspected as the BO member. Amuro might be in some instance acquainted to Akai, seeking Bourbon to avenge his death. Sera could really be the sister of Akai or could be an undercover agent. But that's me, I really am getting excited on the conclusion of this Bourbon Arc. Damn!
I'm really wondering what the title of this chapter wants to tell us...
The translations in the cbox are saying that it should be something like
Spoiler:
"This is my area"
(sorry, if that's not the exactly title, I can't open the cbox right now, the server is down again.)
So that would lead back to the Okiya-Haibara scene -- but there's no sign about anything like that in this case so far (but Ai thinking about the earlier scene).
I'm really excited to see how it's going on... Imo the title MUST have something to do with the whole case -- like another Okiya-Haibara situation. I just can't see how Sera should fit in there. I mean, I really wanna see the promised and long awaited Sera-Haibara confrontation, but it doesn't make any sense with the title, and usually it always fits somehow together... So, what do you think?
